Carrie’s Point of View As I painstakingly started stepping down the stairs, I heard crashes of furniture coming from Lucas’ room. It scared me knowing he was angry and I was so close to him, so despite my pain, I practically ran down the stairs. Once I reached the bottom, I limped to the chair I sat on earlier, and sat down with a sigh. I looked down to my leg to see that water was leaking through the fabric wrapped around it, and felt the ice pack near my broken bone. It felt soft and warm, and I figured the ice had melted by now.
