CHAPTER 12: ZAPHIRA'S POV

After painting a beautiful work of art, the class ended. ''Do you mind if I keep this painting in our office upstairs?'' I look at Edward ''that's fine with me!'' ''I know it was wrong of us to keep that information to ourselves but we had a code to follow and the minute you found out -that code broke!'' Edward stared in my eyes ''I'm not upset or angry, I still need you guys to help me find Daniella so I'm putting aside what happened and focusing on finding my sister!''

I get up from the chair and Edward nods'' I'll collect the painting later!''

After my classes, I decided to go back to the library - I was taking a few books out when I heard someone behind me. ''So is it one of the Stone brothers that have nothing better to do than stalk me !'' I turned around and see Elliot ''ah so you came back to kill me, I must admit that the library seems like one of those movie scenes where the murder usually happens!'' I put down the books'' I just want to fix things , I can't lose Tanya over this so I apologize , can we please go back to how we were the first day?!'' Elliot looks at me with hope visible in his dark green eyes'' fine but this is for Tanya!'' Elliot smiles and I roll my eyes and grin at the same time.

''So what are you looking for?'' I then look at him with this hopeful expression, he gets what's going on and chuckles''you remind me of Tanya , you want me to help you snoop through my family business!'' I nod with a smile ''fine but this is for Tanya!'' we shake hands and start looking through all the books. I found some information and as I was writing it down- I felt Elliot looking at me. ''What is it Elliot?'' ''why are you hiding from Ely?'' I finished writing my notes and looked at Elliot''I'm not hiding away!'' Elliot narrows his eyes ''so being in an ancient part of the library, is normal huh?''

''What are you implying ?'' ''I'm a 96-year-old vampire that has seen a lot, so stop trying to run away from your mate!''

We eventually packed away all the books and walked out of the library. ''So you heading home now ?'' I walked down the stairs''yeah!'' ''okay then see you tomorrow!'' I saluted him and he chuckled.

I reached home and took a quick swim. I entered my room still in my bikini. I hear footsteps running up the steps , I then hear Elliot's voice-I laugh a little . Looks like Tanya and Elliot are back together. I lay down on my tummy, placing my head on my hands. I looked at the sun setting -maybe his right. I needed to stop running away from Ely.

I eventually took a shower and went to bed. I had difficulty sleeping due to my sister's moans. So this is what happens when your sister and her 96-year old vampire boyfriend reunite after a week of fighting -they go full out as if they never touched each other in years. I eventually muffled the sounds with my other pillow.

The next morning, I woke up feeling tired as hell. I got dressed in this black and white striped 3/4 sleeved top, a mini leather skirt with black stockings and black high heels. I made my hair a little wavy -leaving it loose. I had my usual jewelry on, I applied eyeliner and red matte lipstick. I grabbed my bag and left my room.

After eating cereal, I went to school , I walked up the stairs and sat in the assembly room. Everyone started coming inside, the brothers made their way inside. I looked down for a second -I felt so tired. I need to go home and sleep! I looked up and tried paying attention to Edward.
