CHAPTER 13: ELY'S POV

I looked at Zaphira-she looked so tired. I then looked at Edward, as his eyes were on her the entire time. Zaphira was on the verge of falling asleep, I looked at Elliot - he seemed happy, a little linger in his mind. Ah, so he and Tanya were back together. The meaningless assembly ended and I walked over to Zaphira- I placed my hand on her wrist and she looked back at me with this expression that said 'what the hell are you doing?' I noticed how beautiful she looked with red lipstick. ''May I escort you to your class?'' she looked at me confused , she took her phone out and looked at her schedule. ''Oh s**t, I have you now!'' I noticed the bags under her eyes'' rough night huh?'' she looked back at me'' I get that Elliot and Tanya are in love but like they went all out in proving that, till odd hours of the morning-they ruined my sleep!''

I stroked her cheek , she leaned in my touch while looking at Elliot. Did you want to talk to me about something?'' ''yes !'' we walked to my office. On our way there,Zaphira looked lost in her own thoughts. ''Tomorrow night , there's an event happening here at school, artists from all over will be coming! I wanted to ask you to be my date tomorrow night?'' she looked at me amused ''I'm your mate, who else did you want to go with?'' I walked closer to her and pulled her into me. ''So you are my mate now, so I'll just let yesterday pass then-I'll forget that you were hiding from me!''

She sighed'' don't tell me Elliot told you that!'' I smirked and crashed my lips against hers. I deepened the kiss and she gladly went with the flow. I whispered against her lips'' I could get used to kissing you !'' she whispered back'' then what's stopping you?!'' I smirked in the kiss , I then heard footsteps coming -it was Elliot. Zaphira pulled away from the kiss and looked down ''what is it that I can help you with Elliot?'' she looked at him''maybe I should come back later !'' ''while you are here now, I find it strange that my sleep got ruined because of you and my sister and now I can't even spend time with my mate because of you again!'' Zaphira wipes the little lipstick by my bottom lip with her thumb and walks away.

''About that uh!'' ''statisfy yourselves far away from me!'' she walked out and Elliot screamed''how do I fix it ?'' ''let me get my sleep back then we can talk!'' Elliot looked back at me worried and I chuckled'' what's so funny?'' I grabbed my papers and turned to look at him''you two are going to be good friends!'' Elliot sighs ''what can I help you with ?'' ''well its about tomorrows event, I might be away to pick Tanya up-is that okay?'' I smiled ''oh brother, I'm leaving Edward and Eden to suffer , there's no way I'm leaving Zaphira to go by herself!''

I walked out of my office''where you going ?'' ''I got classes!''

After my last class,I see Edward talking to Zaphira on the staircase.I walk closer and place my hands around Zaphira's waist.She looks at me and continues talking to Edward. Edward looks at me and focuses back on Zaphira. She then looks at her phone''I have Eden now , I got to prepare myself for his side glances!'' she kisses my cheek and walks down the stairs . Edward stands next to me ''I'm glad that you are happy, we all needed her to make us feel like we are part of something important !'' she encounters Eden and he reluctantly walks into the class first, making Zaphira roll her eyes. I smiled - we all definitely needed her.
