CHAPTER 14 : ZAPHIRA'S POV

After Eden taught the lesson, I looked off into space and thought about Daniella-she would have wanted me to be happy and to not let my life pass by. I'm doing the exact opposite of what she would have wanted. I packed my things and Eden looked at me with worry-I just walked out. I attended my next classes and then it came to Elliot's class.After the class,he came to talk to me''you okay Zaphira?'' I looked at him'' apart from being tired, I'm doing fine!'' he nodded''about tomorrow's event , what do we have to wear?''

He ponders for a second ''well its an art event so dress however you want to!'' ''what if I come looking all hot and exotic and you tell me that I overdressed?!'' Elliot chuckles ''well then come all hot and exotic , but just know that Ely's definitely going to keep you occupied in his office!'' Elliot winks and I laugh, he wraps me in a hug and I smile. After the hug, I looked at him''did you ever meet your mate?'' he smiled ''Yes I did, she was so phenomenal , she was a werewolf-I reached her too late, she passed away in my arms. She was killed by vampires! Before she passed away, she gave me her blessings to move on and, as you can see, I have-I believe that Tanya was sent for me by her. Tanya's my second chance mate!''

I smiled at Elliot and he smiled back, we left the school and went to my car''nice ride! your mum must be quite good at her job which explains the car!'' I shook my head with an eye roll. After greeting Elliot, I drove home and slept.

Halfway, in my sleep,I felt these arms around me. I placed my hands on this person's arms while the person placed his head in my neck.I smiled and fell off to sleep again.

My eyes opened slowly as I felt the warm sun setting on me. I turned around and saw Ely looking at me. He smiles at me and I stroke his hair''what are you doing here?'' ''I was in the area so I decided to come and see you !'' ''are you sure that you just didn't miss me?'' Ely chuckles ''so as a 97-year old vampire, looks like you find it hard to lie to your own mate!'' I state back with a grin. ''That will be our little secret then!'' he states looking deeply in my eyes''I assume you slept well with me by your side!''

''I did yes!'' ''we should do it more often then!'' ''why don't you just ask me to move in with you?!'' Ely looks at me puzzled''you're only 17 , your mum won't allow that!'' I get up slowly ''well I can improvise!'' the house was quiet. ''My sisters not home!'' Ely gets up as well''they decided to give you back your sleep!''

I got off my bed and walked to my balcony-it was a lovely sunny day. ''What's wrong?'' I looked at the pool and then looked back at Ely''it's a lovely day!'' I walked in the bathroom and changed into a white bikini -I took a look at myself in the mirror. I see my beauty mark on my right shoulder, my other shoulder then has 3 beauty spots all in the shape of a triangle.I place my hair in a messy bun and walk out of the bathroom. I never showed myself off because of my beauty marks. Ely turns to look at me and smiles''going for a swim?'' ''yes , why don't you join me?'' ''if I do that, I believe I'll be walking around this house naked then!''
