Chapter 22 Two days off from work, calling in sick, and then Beau had to work up the courage to go back in. He wasn’t sure what he’d do if he didn’t go back to work; have to pay Tiffany back an ungodly sum of money came to mind, and it still wasn’t enough to motivate him. It was one thing, he realized, to be faced with imminent peril in a dark alley.
