CHAPTER 2: DISASTER

“I had to tell someone, anyone”
I could feel my legs falling on me, the pain from my foot averted to my knees and I cried out painfully. I didn't want to stop, my life depended on it, but I was too weak.
“Lily”, I cried inwardly. I had to alert my wolf. I needed to transform, but I couldn't feel anything. She was silent.
“What happened to my wolf?” I asked myself. I decided to slow down. I needed to rest, but I heard the rustling footsteps.
The wolves were after me. I couldn't believe my senses. Why did everything have to go wrong, why was the hall so quiet? It all felt weird this house wasn't my home.
I paused on my steps when i sighted him, Acher. He was smiling with his teeth, his eyes were dark, and he was shirtless, the moonlight radiating on his body. He looked evil.
I wanted to ask questions, but I couldn't. My whole body went numb and in a split second I was crushed to the ground.
My head banged the floor painfully and I screamed. I tried to push her hands away, but my powers were drained.
“I have waited so long to do this to you, Luna” Amaya said, her words dripping with hatred and excitement.
I didn't know her, I didn't know why she was so cruel and nonchalant to me. I took her in, took Acher in to get this.
I wouldn't be silenced. “You traitor” i yelled. My voice reverberated around the hall, it was full of anger and spite.
“Having s*x with your own sister, disgraceful I spat”
He approached me in slow steps and his next action shocked me to the core.
The slap titled my head to my left, tears engraved in my eyes, my heart beating in pain.
H..he slapped me!
I couldn't believe it. Never a day would I have thought my chosen mate would do this.
“I… "Rejected my fated for you and this is how you pay me?” I yelled. I was stubborn, a nature passed down from generations. Even if I were to die now, I would make sure I die with him.
He chuckled at my words, dark and echoing round the hall.
“Did you ever think I loved you? "I had to stay away from my love. I couldn't touch her, undress her or make love to her. "I was stuck with a delusional Luna, naive and unworthy of being who she is,” he spat. He took hold of my hair, the gripping pain making me scream and he smiled.
I could see the amused, satisfied look on her face.
“So yo..u guy..s are..n't real sibli..ngs” I muttered, and he smiled. Amaya walked up to him, and they smashed their lips into each other.
It was disgusting to look at, my heart hurt and I could feel my wolf whimper in pain.
“Was she back?” I thought happily. I had to escape, anything to distract them.
Their tongues mixed with each other and the smacking sound. I wanted to be strong, but I couldn't bear it. My eyes watered and tears burst out.
I could hear her giggle, it only made my heart cry out more.
“Why?” I asked, my tone inaudible. I lost all the strength in me to talk. They must have heard, but they didn't stop there.
They broke the kiss and Acher glared at me, his eyes full of mockery and malice.
“Arya, why don't you watch us make babies?” He ordered and I froze.
“Go to hell”, I cursed, and he winced mockingly.
His fingers slowly extended to my chin, and he forcefully lifted my chin, making me gaze at him.
The memories all flashed back, it was the sweet promises, lies, everything came back.
I closed my eyes, and eventually I had a feeling it would all end here. I wasn't worthy of being called a mate or a Luna.
I gave my pack to someone who I shouldn't, and I rejected my mate all for him.
I deserved to die, but with him, I wouldn't make my pack suffer the wrath of a senseless Luna.
I noticed Amaya was horny and in heat, it was the best time to attack. I would drag him with me.
“Lily, I'm sorry i should have listened” I apologized to my wolf. I muttered all my strength and in swift seconds my crawls rushed to his neck but……
His hand held my wrist. “Kitten, don't you know acting smart is bad?” And so his foot came crashing to my face.
My body crashed into the hall and I coughed out blood. The palish substance expanded on the ground and i froze.
My eyes widened, did he poison me? My eyes palpated, and I averted my gaze towards him.
“Why did you start to poison me?” I asked, my words choking halfway, and he walked heavy steps towards me.
“Ever since you fell for me” his words came like a crushing stone. He never loved me, not even once, while I spent my whole daydreaming of being his, but truly I was nothing to him, only a tool to get what he wanted.
The tears flowed down my cheeks and in swift seconds, Amaya ran towards me, her claws dipping deep into my tummy and I froze.
A mouthful of blood escaped my lips, my eyes wide open gazing at Acher. He looked so satisfied, no inch of regret.
My wolf whimpered, and I cried “I'm so sorry”. I apologized to her again. I was the reason her life was cut short.
My memories flashed back to the time it all started.
“I don't want you anymore, leave” I yelled at Wayne, and he paused on his steps.
“For him?” He asked, and my expression changed. He came into my life and changed everything about me, one thing Wayne couldn't do.
“You will find someone better” I muttered and his lashes sank.
“I don't trust him”, Wayne replied, but I turned my back against him.
“I do”
The flashback faded and I gazed at Acher. Does he even know I'm pregnant? If he knew that, would he have changed his mind? Would he still kill me?
“I'm pregnant” I wanted to say those words, but my eyes closed and everything that followed was darkness.
