Chapter 1
Liliana's POV
I often wonder how it feels to live in a peaceful household cause I never experienced living in one.
"Are you insane Brandon?!" my mother shouted at my father. They are fighting in front of me and I acted like I didn't care when in fact I am already in pieces.
"Our company is falling into bankruptcy, we need the help of the Lópezes," my father fired back.
"And in exchange for their help, Liliana will have to marry Leonardo?! Can you hear yourself? Liliana is just eighteen years old and that man is almost sixty," my mother uttered and sat beside me. She hugged me tightly and caressed my hair.
"Mommy will protect you, Liliana, I promise," she broke off the hug and cupped my face. She smiled at me and stared at my face as if I will disappear any minute.
"I'm scared Mom," I confessed, and tears started falling from my eyes. My mother immediately wiped it and turned her head to my father who is watching us intently.
"I will never let my daughter marry that old man, you have to kill me first before you do that," my mother uttered then pulled me up.
I looked at my Dad and I can see how helpless he is. I wanted to hug him but his words damaged me to bits to the point that I can no longer recognize him as my father.
"Everything is up to me Susana. Liliana will marry Leonardo that's final," he shouted then walked out leaving me and Mom in the sala dumbfounded.
"Mom I don't want to marry Uncle Leonardo," I begged. My mother hugged me again and caressed my back.
"You won't I promise." I trusted my mother's words and headed toward my room.
Tired from everything I decided to sleep and let my heavy thoughts be drawn somewhere.
"Liliana," a soft call of my name woke me up. I slowly open my eyes and rubbed them only to see my Mom in panic.
"Mom what is it?" I asked and quickly get up to see her face.
"You have to leave. Meet your Aunt Precilia at Le Mura's Nightclub I already informed her that you are coming," I looked at her with a creased forehead.
"What about you Mom?" I asked and looked at her face intently. I held her hand tightly afraid to go alone.
"I'll follow I promise," she kissed my forehead before pulling me somewhere.
"How about Dad?" I asked and I can feel my heart beating hard against my ribcage.
"He's asleep," she responded and pulled me towards my room's balcony.
I saw blankets tied together that I believe I will use to escape.
"Mom promise me you will follow," I uttered as I look at my mother with tears in my eyes. She nod her head and pulled me into a tight hug then caressed my back.
"I promise. I love you, Liliana," she whispered before letting me go.
"I love you, Mommy," I uttered. My mother wiped the tears on my face and gave me a reassuring smile.
"Go," she uttered.
I slowly climbed down. My knees were trembling but I did everything to overcome my fear. When I finally reached the ground I looked up at my room's balcony, Mom wave her hands at me and throw something.
I picked up the bag and I opened it only to see a red silky dress. I looked up with a creased forehead but my mother wasn't on the balcony anymore.
I saw a note attach to the dress.
"You have to fit in. Stay hidden my Love."
I took a deep breath and gather all my courage before leaving my home. I used our backyard as an exit since no one is guarding this area.
I walked for a few minutes and when I reached the street I quickly grabbed a taxi.
When it stopped in front of me I quickly get in.
"Where to ma'am?" the taxi driver asked politely.
"Le Mura Nightclub," I uttered.
During the whole ride, I kept on thinking about my mother. I know she will get in big trouble once Dad has learned that she helped me escape.
"We are here Ma'am," the taxi driver announced. I am thinking too much to the point that I didn't even notice that I already arrived at my destination.
"Thank you," I uttered then handed my fare.
From the outside, I can already hear the loud music. Before I get in I decided to change my clothes first. I walked towards a dark area.
I am looking on my sides afraid that someone might see me while I am changing my clothes but I am glad no one showed up.
I fix my hair and my clothes before walking towards the entrance of the club.
I took a few deep breaths before walking in,
"ID," the bouncer uttered full of authority.
"I'm here to see Aunt Precilia," I responded. He stared at my face for a few seconds before making a call.
"Okay, you can get in," he uttered.
With shaking knees I entered the club. As I roam my eyes around it accidentally landed on a tall man who was walking toward me confidently.
When he reached my direction he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to his body. I gasp feeling his touch.
He leaned his face closer to mine, I was about to push him when I saw my Dad's men looking for me.
I quickly grabbed the stranger's nape and kissed him. I heard him chuckle and later on, his kisses became aggressive.
"Uhm," I moaned when his tongue entered my mouth.
His hands started to wander around my body and I let him because I am more concerned about my Dad's men who are busy roaming the whole club.
My focus was completely lost when the man dragged me to the dark corner of the club and pinned me on the wall.
"What's your name?" he asked in between our kisses.
"Lili," I responded while catching my breath.
When his kisses goes down to my neck I angled my face to give him better access.
I can feel the strap of my dress falling from my shoulder.
"Your hot babe," he commented while kissing my jaw.
When I saw my Dad's man approaching our direction I grabbed his hair and pulled his face closer to mine again to cover my face. I claimed his lips once again and he seems to like it.
His hands that were busy caressing my waist slowly go up until they reach my chest.
He started massaging it and after a while, I can feel his calloused hands having direct contact with my chest.
I gasped when he pinched my n****e.
"She isn't here," I heard a familiar voice, that was Ronaldo my Dad's most trusted man.
While this stranger is busy playing with my chest my eyes were watching my Dad's men exit the club.
When they were completely gone, I pushed the man away and gave him a hard slap.
"f**k you," I cursed and fixed my clothes.
Confusion was written on his face but I glared at him and walked out.
Francis' POV
I was holding my face while watching the woman walk away.
"What was that?" I whispered.
Did I do something wrong? I thought she's liking it.
I walked back to Mathew's direction while holding my left cheek that was slapped by that strange woman.
I had a flashback with our bet.
~Flashback ~
"Wanna play something fun bro?" Mathew asked out of the blue while I am busy eyeing the woman that danced in front.
I turned my head on him and raised my right eyebrow.
"What is it?" I curiously asked then took a sip from my glass.
"Let's make a bet. You have to hook up with the next person who'll enter the club," Mathew smirked at me while pointing at the entrance of the club.
"Lame but whatever," I responded full of confidence.
After a few seconds a woman wearing a silky red dress that perfectly hugs her curve enter.
"Not bad," I commented then proudly stood up and walked towards the woman.
~End of Flashback ~
"You look miserable Francis," he commented and laughed at me.
I punched his right arm and glared at him.
"f**k you," I cursed then sat beside him still caressing my cheek.
"Give me my Ferrari Mr. Lopez," he uttered then laid out his palm in front of me.
"I hook up with that woman, I completed the dare." I defended but he look at me like he didn't believe me at all.
"Oh God, f**k you, man!" I cursed then fished out the key of my Ferrari from my pocket.
He quickly grabbed it. A wide grin appeared on his lips while he was looking at the key.
"Another collection," he uttered while looking at it intently. I shook my head and dialed my butler's number.
"Send someone to pick me up at Le Mura," I spoke then dropped the call.
"Come on bro it's just a Ferrari but you act like you lost everything," Mathew commented, maybe he noticed me slacking off.
I just shook my head and took another sip from the glass.
It's not about my car. It's about that woman whom I tasted earlier.
The way she feels kept on playing in my head like a broken cassette.
How can I find you again, Lili?
