"Why did you want to meet here, Ra? Why not at my place, or I could've come to yours?" Mom asked her daughter.
"Because I just want to meet with you, Mama. Just want to talk with you alone."
It wasn't at a café or restaurant where Danira asked to meet her Mom. Instead, it was in one of the hotel rooms owned by her family.
"You didn't tell Dad, did you, that you were going to meet me?" Danira asked to confirm.
"No, Ra, your dad is busy taking Zio to meet his friends. Sorry, Ra, Zio doesn't want to go back to your and Bara's house yet. Maybe because he's used to living with Dad and Mom."
