The sound of a woman moaning from the next room made Danira want to cover her ears. Bara's sharp gaze directed at her made her want to hit the man who was her boss and husband. Bara was truly outrageous, creating a room with a one-way mirror where Bara could be with his lover, but from Danira's room, it looked like a big screen. Bara did all this to get back at her because she reported all of Bara's misdeeds to his parents, which led them to pressure Bara to marry immediately. Unfortunately, the woman Bara had to marry turned out to be Danira, who was not only his secretary at the office but also the one who had boldly exposed his womanizing behavior to his parents.

1. My Husband's Passionate Bed, Not for Me
Danira Anya Widia, 23 years old, met the sharp gaze of Bara, who was biting his lip in restrained pleasure. The woman lying beneath Bara's body kept making sounds that were deeply nauseating for Danira to hear. Bara indeed couldn't see what Danira was doing in the next room; the one-way mirror he installed could only be seen from one side, which was where his room was, with a passionate bed to pamper his women. But it always seemed like Bara knew that Danira must be watching his actions as he was with another woman. Albara Gustian Aditama, 27 years old, a jerk who was both Danira's boss and her husband, had truly gone too far. He deliberately tortured Danira in that way to take revenge because it was Danira's actions that forced him, a man who still loved to wander from bed to bed, to face the officiant sooner. Danira still remembered the incident three months ago when she and Bara were summoned to the home of his boss's parents. It was because she had provided information and evidence of Bara's depravity with several women to his boss's mother. Evidence she had collected over two years while working for that man. Bara was very angry at that time because he knew only Danira was aware of what he usually did at the office with several sexy women who willingly came to him. But he no longer had the power to fire her; his parents threatened to give Bara's position to Danira if he dared to fire or mistreat her. Bara's anger multiplied when a few days later, his parents decided he should marry her. Something that was certainly surprising for Bara, but not for Danira. "Who else would want to marry you if they knew your behavior like this, Bar, if not Danira? You have a lot of money, but with your bad behavior, at most, you would only get a wife who just wants to take advantage of your money. And Mama can't accept that your late father's hard work would be in vain just because of your embarrassing actions. You have to marry Danira; besides, she knows you inside and out, and she can also help manage the company." The tears of his mother at that time forced Bara to obey his mother's orders and marry Danira a month later. But don't expect that just marrying Danira would change his nature and habits. It wasn't just because Danira was an informant secretary to him that made Bara dislike her. What made Bara reluctant to marry Danira was because he knew Danira was the mother of a child. Not because Bara looked down on Danira's status of having a child out of wedlock, as he himself wasn't good in that regard. But the reason was, Bara didn't like children. Even though he liked to play around with women, he always played it safe. That's what he knew. Danira closed her eyes for a moment before diverting her gaze from the two people who were engrossed in their entanglement on the bed. She then picked up a book and put on her earphones. Is Danira angry and jealous right now seeing what Bara is doing? The answer is no. Her reason for marrying Bara wasn't because she liked the handsome man, nor was she after Bara's wealth, which is why she never complained about how much her husband spent on his women. The basic salary from the company and the income from her side business were more than enough for Danira and her child's living expenses. She had another reason for orchestrating the moment when Bara's parents finally told their son to marry her. "Ra, I'm hungry." Shamelessly, Bara entered the room they usually shared, looking like he had cleaned up and changed clothes. He then pulled out the earphones from Danira's ears. "Ra... I'm hungry. What did you cook?" he asked again. "I haven't cooked," Danira answered curtly. "Why? Are the groceries finished, or are you out of money again?" Danira slammed the book she was reading down onto the bed. "Why are you asking? You locked the room from the outside, remember?" "Oh, right, sorry I forgot. Now, cook, my stomach is hungry after working hard." Danira snorted. She didn't care about what Bara had done. She was also hungry, not having had the chance to eat dinner after coming home from the office. Even earlier today, she skipped lunch because she was too busy. Unfortunately, after she finished showering, her room was suddenly locked from the outside. Bara did it on purpose, as usual, to flaunt his vile acts. He had been doing this throughout their two-month marriage, no less than once a week. The man was no longer afraid if she reported his actions again to his parents. He threatened to sleep with Danira all night if she reported him; even though with disdain he would reluctantly do it because he wasn't interested in the body of a woman who already had a child like her. That made Danira give up. After all, her goal had already been achieved. Feeling lazy, Danira just threw together two instant noodle packs with random ingredients. Her stomach was very hungry. "Why instant noodles, Ra? You know I don't like noodles," Bara asked, eyeing the food in front of him with disdain. "I'm saving money," Danira replied nonchalantly. Bara indeed didn't like instant food like that, and Danira cooked it on purpose. "If you want to eat a whole cow every day, I can afford it, Ra. Don't be ridiculous." "I'm too lazy to cook something complicated. I'm tired." Bara smiled condescendingly. "Tired? Really, Ra? I was kind enough to reduce your exhausting duties as a wife by having that woman take over." "Then why didn't you ask her to cook for you too?" Danira asked irritably. "Ck, do you think women like that can cook, Ra? They're specialists in bed, not in the kitchen." "Whatever, but tomorrow I want to ask for a day off," Danira said after finishing her meal. "Why?" "I want to go home. I miss Zio, my son." "Okay, but have you got everything ready for tomorrow's meeting?" Danira nodded. They still maintained professionalism when it came to work. Despite Bara's despicable behavior, he was very competent at work. He only used the money from his salary for entertainment, including paying several different women each week. According to the initial agreement, Danira was not allowed to bring her child to live in the apartment with her and Bara. In return, Bara allowed Danira to take one day off each week, apart from the weekend, to visit her child. A three-year-old child whom Bara only knew as Zio, without ever seeing or wanting to see his face. "I didn't finish my noodles, Ra, I'm afraid of getting a stomachache. I'll find something to eat outside." Danira didn't respond; she just took Bara's bowl, which still had a lot of noodles left, threw it away, and washed it clean. "I'm going to grab some food from the usual spot. Do you want me to get you anything?" "No, thank you." Bara quickly grabbed his car keys, looking for a meal with rice, vegetables, and side dishes. He hadn't had a chance to eat lunch earlier because he was busy with a meeting outside the office accompanied by Danira. But he wasn't as bold as Danira, who ate noodles on an empty stomach. He took great care of his body. After eating his fill, Bara returned to his apartment and entered the room where he had been sleeping with Danira for the past two months. The apartment only had two rooms, and one was already occupied by the bed where Bara usually satisfied his desires. And he felt uncomfortable sleeping there. Even though he wasn't interested in Danira's body, he felt that sharing a bed with his wife was better than sleeping where he had been with the other woman earlier. Bara watched Danira's face as she slept soundly. To this day, Bara hadn't figured out why Danira wanted to marry him. She never protested about what he did and didn't demand anything from him materially. As a wife, Danira was too independent and indifferent to him. Even the heated scenes he displayed seemed to have no effect on her at all.
