The Birthday Girls

*Lizzy pov*
I woke up before the alarm even went off. 7:30 my phone read. I glanced over to see Crystal still sound asleep with a small amount of drool dripping down the corner of her mouth.
"Rise and shine cutie," I cooed at her. She groaned slightly and turned over.
"Oh no, you don't!" I exclaimed as I proceeded to tickle her awake.
"It's too early for this!" She whined while laughing. "Don't you have anything better to do?"
"Nope!" I said while tickling her more.
There was a soft knock at her door.
"Girls, are you awake yet?" Crystal's mom, Luna Lily asked while pushing the door open slightly.
"Yes, Mom," Crystal responded while finally getting out of bed.
"Oh, good. I thought I was going to have to send the pups in!" Lily chuckled.
"Anything but them!" Crystal groaned while heading towards her bathroom.
"The visiting alphas should start arriving shortly. Please be ready, both of you," Lily said before closing the bedroom door.
I got off the bed and followed Crystal into the bathroom. She was in the shower and since I had already showered the night before, I only needed to pee and then wash my face. She and I got ready in record time, too! Only 30 minutes compared to our usual 1+ hour getting ready time.
As we left her room, we were ganged up on by all of her siblings.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY," they all shouted and hugged us.
"Thank you, everyone!" We said in unison while hugging the pups on return. Samson came out of the kitchen.
"There are the birthday girls!" he said cheerfully while giving us both a kiss on the head. Crystal smiled, hugging him back.
"So, Crystal, have you anything exciting to tell us?" Samson asked.
"Yes, I do actually!" Crystal responded. "My wolf came to be before I fell asleep. She said her name is Bree!"
"Bree, that is quite the lovely name. I'm sure I speak for every single member when I say we are very excited to meet her!" Lily responded as she gave Crystal a hug and a kiss, just like Samson did.
'I can't wait to show everyone myself!' Bree exclaimed.
"She said she's very excited to meet everyone too," Crystal said.
We sat in the alpha's suite dining room and ate breakfast after my parents showed up. After we ate and the dishes were done and put away, we made our way downstairs, where some pack members were waiting to give their birthday wishes and congratulations for the arrival of Bree.
I only had to wait thankfully for midnight tonight to gain my wolf.
"Man, I wonder what my wolf's name is," I said to Crystal since she finally stopped getting stormed by pack members.
"We will know soon!" She happily chirped.
"That we will!" I said with a smile.
*a few hours later*
The alphas started arriving. Crystal and I, along with her and my parents, were standing out front of the packhouse doors to greet everyone. The first to arrive was Alpha Jacobs of the Northern Star pack, his Luna, Kathy, his Beta, Marcus, and his mate, Samantha.
"Welcome, Alpha Jacobs, Luna Kathy, Beta Marcus, and Beta Samantha," Alpha Samson said with his hand extended
"Thank you, Samson! We wouldn't miss this for the world!" Luna Kathy chirped as she hugged Luna Lily. Lily was in her late 30s. Golden red hair frames her pale freckled face. Her eyes were an icy blue like the ocean on a calm sea day.
"I hope the travel wasn't a long way!" Luna Lily smiled.
"Of course not." Alpha Jacobs said with a chuckle. "Allow me to interest my son and future alpha, Kyle."
Alpha Jacobs had just turned 40, his salt and peppered hair lay neatly in a ponytail that came to his lower back with a beard almost as long to match. He had a darker complexion with eyes so amber they looked as if they glowed. Yet he was a kind hearted individual.
"Kyle here has just turned 18 a few months ago, and with no luck in our pack, we are hopeful that he will possibly find his mate while we are here," he cheerfully remarked while resting a hand on Kyle's shoulder.
Kyle was maybe 6'3" with black hair, his mother's eyes, but his father's complexion.
We all said our greetings and had the omegas show our guests to where they would be staying. The rest of the guests arrived and we did the same song and dance.
Alpha Philip of the Silver Dagger pack with his Luna Marie, his Betas Thomas and Dehila, their twin sons Shawn, who will be taking over in a few months, and Travis, and their daughter Maya. The Silver Dagger pack was known for its ruthless warriors and terrifying torture methods for trespassing rogues.
Shawn was about 19 with raven black hair styled into loose spikes at the top with ice blue eyes. He also had slightly tanned skin. Travis looked the same, but instead of blue eyes, his eyes were almost Violet. Maya had just turned 18 and was beyond excited to see if her mate was at our pack. She was definitely a beautiful little flower with golden yellow hair and had eyes as green as the leaves during the summer.

*Crystal POV*
The greeting of the visiting Alphas went on slowly and quickly at the same time, but soon the ball was in full swing. People were eating, drinking, and mingling with each other. It was a breathtaking sight to see. I haven't sensed my mate in the group of people, but I'm honestly not in a rush. Sometimes people don't meet their mates for years after gaining their wolf, and that would be okay with me because I would have to leave my pack as well as leave Lizzy behind, and I don't want to leave her to be honest. Bree was sitting happily in my mind, watching the people go by.
"This is amazing!" Bree chipped.
"Indeed it is Bree," I smile
As I continue to walk around the bell room, I bow and smile at all of our guests when suddenly I'm hit with a buzzing sensation in my head, my vision goes dark, my body grows heavy as flashes of a snowy field with bodies fill my mind…
