“We have people up at all hours of the day and night,” Queen Alessia says as they pass a few younger people.
“So this city underground, do you ever have any issues with supplies or anything?” Barin asks, peeking into a few of the rooms they pass as they move through the tunnels.
“At times we have trouble getting fresh produce, since there aren’t many farms nearby. We do have a few small farms here underground, where we are able to be near the surface. Sort of like underground greenhouses. Here we are,” she says, making a few quick turns to reach one of these greenhouses. It has several rows of different types of vegetable: corn, wheat, and barley, as well as small plots of beans, carrots, potatoes and squashes.
