Once Taytra is sure that everyone in the caravan made it to the caves and was resting far from the entrance, and that each wagon is hidden, she is able to half-relax. But only half. Their caravan made progress practically unscathed. But Andrew is still missing and the caravan of people who left first is still missing. Sam is still missing. And Ward isn’t back yet.
So once she’s sure that every one of her group is safe, she speaks with the guards and makes sure they have enough men to keep a rotating watch at all times.
