Aria sighed at Spencer, unhappy with her interruption. "Darius, his name is Darius".

She waited for a few seconds, took a deep breath and continued her story. "Long ago, before we were born there was a curse. A curse made by the gods who ruled over humans. Some said there were wicked, others said there were kind, but no one knew their true nature.

Humans served them, worshiped them, and fulfilled their wishes. The gods loved the humans in their own way but humans wanted more.

They hid behind the shadows, whispering and conniving among themselves on how they could be stronger than the gods. This was done in secret by the wise but fools said it openly, not scared of what the gods might do to them.

But they were wrong.

The fools were tortured and then killed for defying the gods. While the gods were having their fun with the fools, a man decided to do something about the gods".

"Let me guess, it's this Darius guy?" Sawyer asked disinterested.

Aria simply nodded at him, and continued her story.

"He set out, searching for a way and finally he found a map. A map to the end of the gods. The gods being angry laid a curse on the man".

"What curse?" Sawyer asked.

"Stop interrupting Sawyer". Aria yelled at Sawyer, which just made everyone laugh. They knew how easy it was to piss of Aria.

Aria ignored them. She was determined to finish her story.

What began with only a story, turned into an adventure.

Chapter One
The storm ripped over the sky, gushing torrents of rain, that stuck to the ground. Lightning strikes spat down, with a mixture of thunder around. There was a gleeful kind of anticipation in the air, fear, which suited Zoe's mode perfectly. Zoe moved closer to her boyfriend Amos in fright. She stared up at her sister with fear in her eyes. She snuggled closer to Amos, which just made him chuckle at her. "Don't worry babe, I'll protect you." Amos said, which made everyone laugh. In the forest, Zoe sat with her boyfriend, her sister and their friends. She sat comfortable on Amos lap, while her sister stood. Telling the story she had heard a thousand times but still, it gave her chills. "What's the man's name again Aria?" Spencer asked Zoe's sister with interest. Spencer was currently sitting on a log with her boyfriend Sawyer, who wrapped his hand around her possessively. Aria sighed at Spencer, unhappy with her interruption. "Darius, his name is Darius". She waited for a few seconds, took a deep breath and continued her story. "Long ago, before we were born there was a curse. A curse made by the gods who ruled over humans. She was determined to finish her story. "They could not stop the man from finding the map but they could prevent him from using it. Every time he tried using the map, his world would start over. It took a long time for him to understand what was happening to him, but he finally did. He decided to stop his task, thinking this would break the curse, but it didn’t. over and over his world continued. Tired and defeated, he tried taking his own life but death wouldn’t come. He never aged or died but wondered the earth wanting an end to his curse". Aria finished her story with a dramatic sigh. She was pleased she scared her sister. “Are you telling that story again Aria?” Aria was shocked to hear that voice. Ryan She could swear she told everyone not to invite him. She didn't need a seer to tell her who invited him. Oh boy, was she going to enjoy killing her sister. "What are you doing here Ryan?" Aria asked angrily. Ryan smiled at her, took a sit on the log and ignored her. Aria was angry. Really angry, but she wasn't angry at Ryan. Not anymore. No, she was angry at her sister for inviting him. Zoe didn't understand that her relationship with Ryan was not all roses and peaches. Roses and peaches, did that even make sense? Shaking her head at herself, she turned to her sister with a smile. "Zo, can I talk to you for a minute?" Aria walked further away from the group to avoid anyone hearing their discussion. "What the hell is wrong with you? What part of I don't want Ryan around didn't you understand Zo?" Aria yelled at her. She was getting really tired of her sister meddling in her life. "Look, am sorry. He kind of overheard Amos and I talking, and it would have been really weird to tell him his not invited". Aria couldn't believe this. "Weird. Are you freaking kidding me. Would it have killed you to at least warn me he was coming". "If I would have told you, you wouldn't have showed up". "Exactly". Aria was too angry to have this discussion. Her sister never had her back. Without a word Aria walked away. Not back to the group. No, she was getting the hell away from here. She could here the voice of her sister calling her back, but she didn't care. She walked back to her car, or at least that's where she thought she was walking to. It took her a few minutes, before she realized she was lost. "Great. Just freaking great. Am lost. Freaking lost in the woods". Any other time, getting out of the forest wouldn't have been these hard, but today was different. This time, Spencer suggested the group go deeper into the woods, to make it an adventure. "Damn you Spencer". Aria yelled at nothing. She tried retracing her steps back to the group, but that proved even worse. She didn't know where she was, but she knew she was deeper into the woods. "s**t, am lost".
