Dimensions Afar

At a time that no one knows, there was a girl named Aphasia. She liked to be called Aph for short since her name sounded too royal to her. When Aph was seventeen, she was walking home from school. She had found a purple stone that seemed to glow on the street. "Who would leave a pretty stone like this on the ground? Must be worth hundreds. Crazy..." Aph couldn't resist it's beauty, so she picked it up and went home. Aph had finally arrived home and went straight to her mother, telling her how pretty it was. Since her mother saw how much Aph had liked the stone, she had decided to make it into a necklace, shaping the stone into a heart shaped pendant. After this, Aph wore the necklace everyday, loving how it made her pink eyes glow so uniquely. One day, when it was dark outside, Aph was in her bedroom, getting ready for bed until suddenly, the necklace her mother had made her a few months back had started to glow and shake. Before Aph could take it off, she had disappeared from her room. When Aph had opened her eyes, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Everything around her was in more softer colors than usual. This is when Aph had realized. "This isn't home... is it?" The more she looks around, the more sure she is that she probably isn't even on her planet anymore. She stood up, dusted herself off, and went to go find what to do about this and how she would get home. After just a few steps, she pauses. She knows she needs to find better clothes than her pajamas, especially for an oncoming adventure. She goes into a clothes shop, trying on new clothes. Then, she finally found a pretty lilac crop top, and camouflage sweats. Then she put her long orange hair in two pigtails and went on her way. While she was walking, she was thinking to herself. "How could I have got here? I was only sitting down..." she thought. Suddenly, Aph accidently bumps into someone, falling to the ground with a thud. When she looks up at who she had bumped into, it was a dark skinned girl with purple puffy hair and glasses. "Goodness, I'm so sorry about that. Are you okay, girl?" the girl says. "I'm fine, thanks." Aph says softly. She stands back up, noticing that the girl looks her age. "Oh, you're... Are you seventeen too?" The woman looks a bit confused, but laughs a bit at it. "Uhm, yeah? Is that a bad thing?" the woman chuckles. "No, no. Not at all. It's just good to see someone my age." Aph says. The lady nods softly and sighs, holding out a hand for Aph to shake. "Well, my name is Jada. And your name is...?" Aph shook her hand happily. "Aph. Nice to meet you, Jada." As much as Aph was relieved that she found someone her age here and she looked normal, she was also needing help with finding out where to go. "Hey, Jada? Is there some kind of high people here like a king or a president or something?" Aph asks, hopeful that there is. "Actually, there are the princes. They're twins. They usually make all of the decision making since their father, the king, died in a war." Jada explains. Then Jada smiles at Aph softly. "Do you want me to take you there?" Aph smiles and nods, happy to have someone like Jada. "Yes please. I think I might really need their help." Jada nods and takes Aph's hand, guiding her to the castle. "Alright then, off we go to the castle." After quite a bit of walking and getting lost due to Aph being so-called "certain of directions", they finally arrived at the castle. Once they are let inside, they meet the two princes. "Aph, these are the two princes of our kingdom. Prince Dain, and Prince Dellroy." Jada says. Then the two princes greet them. "Welcome." says Dellroy. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Prince Dellroy looks at both girls kindly, but when he makes eye contact with Aph, something seems to be different about her to him. Then, Prince Dain steps up. "Is there anything that we can help you girls with?" Dain asks. Aph explains everything that happened, how she got here, and asked if they knew the way home. The two twins shared looks before they both sigh. Dain speaks first. "I'm sorry, but-" Dain is cut off by Dellroy as he interrupts. "We would be happy to help you if you explain a bit more to us." Dain had never seen Dellroy want to help someone this much. Then, Jada and Aph go with the two princes to discuss what to do. Now they're all sitting at a meeting table. The two princes didn't exactly know how to help until they got a good look at the purple heart shaped stone on her necklace. "May I please see your necklace, Aph?" Dain asks. Aph nods and hands over the necklace to Dain. He observes it for a moment before I looks back up at Aph. "Aph, where did you find this?" Dain asks again. Dellroy doesn't exactly get what his brother is talking about until he saw the necklace glow a bit. "I just found it on the street while I was walking home from school. I didn't know it would take me to some... other world or something." Aph says. Then, Dellroy takes a look at the stone before he realizes what Dain is talking about. Dellroy then asks "That's a moonglow stone... isn't it?" Dain nods slowly, and then both princes look back at the girls. "Aph... You aren't in a different world, you're in a different dimension. But... this is only used by a princess. The moonglow princesses." At this point, both girls are stunned. "What are the moonglow princesses?" Aph asks. Dain then explains "There are six moonglow princesses. They all had gotten scattered around dimensions after a war. There's the princess of the moon, darkness, stars, planets, life, and light. They had been reborn since the war." Then Jada smiles excitedly. "So you're saying that my friend here is a moonglow princess? But how?" Dain and Dellroy look at each other before Dellroy speaks up. "I don't know, but we have to find out which princess she is. Only a moonglow princess can use a moonglow stone." Aph then sighs, starting to wonder how and why she's a moonglow princess. "How will we find that out? I don't even know which one I am, so it might be impossible." Dain then thinks for a moment, and then gets an idea. "Aph, is your name short for something? Maybe your name will sound similar." The fact that Aph never liked her name, but now it's actually important intrigued Aph. "Yeah, it's short for Aphasia. Is that important?" Aph asks. "Yes, it is." Dellroy simply answers. "Aphasia is the name of the princess of light. Aph, you're the most strongest in the princesses." Aph scoffs, waiting a second before speaking. "You're kidding. I'm just a girl that loves boba tea and games. I can't be the most powerful, let alone a princess at all." Dain chuckles at this, and sighs. "Well, apparently you are. You can destroy five planets at once." Now this really intrigued Aph. Knowing that you can blow up five planets at once isn't as bad as it sounds when you're the one who can do it. Though, Aph didn't really want to blow up planets. She was ready to learn how to be a moonglow princess though, and she'd work hard for it.
