Leaving Her Part 2

455 Words
Mirelda POV After yesterday's emotional roller-coaster of a birthday, I knew I only really had the next 3 days to spend with Lu and Lisa. Lu showed up to our home and never left except for her training with my shadow and my niece's. Our shadows or iButho as they are called are similar to that of an alpha and his wolf, so when we die, so do they, but when they die, it just affects our magic. The only reason my niece, Lisa's mother's shadow, hasn't died is because of Lu, but once Lisa and Lu turn 18, she will pass on as Lu's training will be complete. I didn't even know my niece's shadow still lived until Lu arrived, and my shadow Bhula told me. I woke the 2 girls up with tickles as there was not going to be training for the next 3 days and I wanted them to have experienced being a worry free child even if it was only for a few days. I took them to human towns to watch movies where we ended up watching 6 movies in a row, the theme park I never thought I could ever think straight again from all the different rides we went on, water world I for sure thought if there was a time to catch an illness it would be then due to all the crazy water slides we went on and at my age no less and finally the beach for a some downtime and to say my final goodbye. After coming home from the beach in the evening, the girls were so exhausted they went straight to bed, which gave me time to prepare everything. After packing Lisa and Lu's things, I summoned my shadow to come and pick her up. Then, I made sure to put Lisa in a deep sleep as she was about to wake up in a strange place. When I arrived at the orphanage, they had assigned a room for her already which thankfully she wouldn't need to share with anybody as I knew the owner of the orphanage feared me and my coven so she had clear instructions to never mess with Lisa and she could already sense the protection spell around her so for her and her people's safety they would do well to behave. Sandra, the orphanage owner, was a complex woman she wasn't kind, but she wasn't evil either she was always all about her own interests, and that was problematic. Unfortunately, I had no time to dwell on such things because it was time for me to leave her here, and it broke my very soul. So I whispered my final words to Lisa before leaving her.
