Zero stood in front of a building, recognizing it as the village doctor's place. He contemplated for a moment before deciding to enter. However, his attention was abruptly diverted by a scream that pierced the air, causing him to turn around in surprise.
Conflicted, Zero initially considered avoiding the situation and going about his own business. But as the screams persisted, his curiosity got the better of him. He rationalized that it wouldn't hurt to see what was happening, even though he was still new to this world and had no desire to face danger on his very first day.
Making his way toward the source of the commotion, Zero discovered a group of kids bullying a plump-looking child. Disgust filled him as he observed this all-too-familiar sight, even in this fantastical realm.
Intrigued and compelled to understand the situation, Zero approached the scene quietly, attempting to overhear the bullies' conversation. It became apparent that they were demanding money from the fat kid, who pleaded for more time to gather the funds. However, his pleas fell on deaf ears as the bullies continued to physically assault him.

The bullies looked at him with a mixture of surprise and arrogance, as if dismissing his intervention as insignificant. One of them sneered, "Who do you think you are, interfering in our business?"
Ignoring their taunts, Zero held his ground, refusing to back down. "I won't let you continue bullying him. It ends now."

Zero smiled, a rare glimmer of warmth in his eyes. "No thanks necessary. Remember, standing up for what's right is important. Don't let anyone treat you like this again."
As he turned to leave, the fat kid called out, "Wait! What's your name?"
Zero paused for a moment, contemplating his response. "You can call me Zero."
With a nod of appreciation, Zero continued on his path, his resolve strengthened by the encounter. He knew that his journey in this new world was just beginning.
