KIA "How many times do I have to tell you to find someone who can manage this kind of job?" I asked my secretary calmly while looking down. " Ma'am I tried, but almost all of the best pilots in town are not available" my secretary answered while trembling. I looked at her secretary with my sharp and intimidating eyes. "Almost?" I said while staring at my employee's soul. "If it's just possible, then there is still someone who can fit in this project perfectly" I said while walking closer to my secretary to fix her necktie. I fixed the necktie and I pulled my secretary closer and I whispered into her ear, "Find someone who will fit in this job perfectly, or you'll have to find a new job?" I got distracted by a sudden knock. I went back to my chair and signaled my secretary to leave. My secretary immediately went out the room. The person outside the door knocked again. " Come in!" I allowed the man to come in. " Baby stop pressuring your secretary to find the best pilot in town." Mr. Fernandez said calmly and sat down in front of me. "Dad, how could I stop? The owner of the biggest fashion company in France is coming within 2 weeks!?" "I know baby, but I have great news for you" Her dad said "I already found someone who can fit in this job perfectly." My dad handed me the resume of someone from my past... I opened the resume and I widened her eyes from what I saw. "Johannes Grey Ford..." "What can you say?" Her dad asked me. I called my secretary, and I ordered her to schedule a meeting with Mr.Ford Later that morning, I went back home and I went in the bathroom to take a bath and after that I went to bed. While I was laying down, I tried so hard to sleep but I cannot. Something inside my head kept distracting me. I opened her phone and I stalked Mr.Ford. Later that day. I woke up extra early today, Iwent to my walk in closet as soon as I woke up. I planned my outfit and I chose a brown trouser, brown blazer, white long sleeve and black high heels. I sprayed a Dior perfume and I wore a Dior jewelry. I went to the meeting room, everyone bowed at me when I walked pass them. I saw Johann inside the meeting room seating beside my father. Everyone's attention turned to me as I enter the room. They stopd up and bowed to me. I bowed back and I sat down to her seat. My father stand up and went in front to introduce his me to Mr. Ford. "Good morning, it was nice meeting you. Thank you for your time. Mr. Ford I would like you to meet my daughter the CEO of this company, Kianna Eloise Fernandez" I stood up and offered my hand to him. "It was nice meeting you,Mr. Ford" he accepted my hand and we sat down. "Mr. Ford I will go strait to the point. Mr. Ford, would you like to join our company? Would you like to be our company's official pilot?" My dad asked him. " I would love it sir, but I have a contract in our airline and I can't just terminate it that easily." Johann reasoned. " Is that all?" My father laughed. "I will schedule a meeting with your airline and I'll talk to them to terminate your contract." I said. "But si-" Johann tried to talk but my father stopped him. " No more but dear, here's the contract and you may sign it right now" Dad handed him the contract. It took him 5 minutes to sign the contract. He signed the contract. "It's settled then. Welcome to Arctic Corporation." We stood up and bid our goodbyes. " Kia, will you please let us talk just me and Mr. Ford?" My dad looked at me, I silently went out and went straight to the elevator to go the cafe near by. Click! The elevator opened, I entered inside. The door is closing but someone held the door. Johann entered the elevator and stood next to me. The silence is so loud and it makes everything feels awkward. I acted like someone is calling me to ease the awkwardness. "Hello, love why did you called?" I side eyed him. "Oh you're there already?" I said as I pretend to be shocked. "Alright I'll be right the-" I stopped talking when my phone rang. I looked to my phone slowly. "Sh*t" I whispered. I heard him laugh. I put my phone back to my pocket. "How's life?" He broke the silence. "I'm doing fine. How about you?" I asked him back. "I'm doing good. I heard that you're a successful fashion designer now." He said as he looked at me. "Yes, but not that happy." I said as I look back at him. " Why?" He asked me worriedly. "Nothing." I looked at him sadly. "How bout you I heard that you're a pilot now?" I asked him "Yeah, I continued my passion." He laughed. "How's yaya Pina and manong Bert?" I asked him while smiling. "They're both doing fine. They are growing old." He said. " It's been a long time since I saw them. It's also been a long time since the last time I saw you." I looked at him. He avoided my gaze and his phone rang. "Yes babe?" He answered softly. "Yes babe I'll be there in a few minutes. "Bye, love. Love you." The door opened and he looked at me. " It's nice seeing you again." He smiled before he left. I realized how lucky that girl is. He looked at me like we never been together. What if I chose to stay?
