Sold

Beth POV I stood under the spotlight on the stage dressed in a sheer white fitted dress. Even though I was dressed, I still felt exposed. The light shining on me was so bright that I couldn’t see beyond it to the crowd I knew was looking at me. When I had entered the room, I caught the faint whisp of cinnamon and nutmeg, but I couldn’t see Conrad in the shadows. My heart was beating fast in my chest, but I held myself still and tall, keeping my hands at my sides. The platform I was on rotated twice and I tried not to be overcome by the dizziness that assaulted me. When it stopped moving, I just took slow deep breaths and stared straight ahead. I could hear the buzz of the crowd in front of me and a strong male voice to one side, but the words spoken never once filtered through to my brain. At one point, I felt my dress slip off my shoulders and down my body to pool at my feet. It took everything in me to resist the urge to cover myself with my arms. I gulped as the platform span around once more, my limbs were trembling and I felt as if I would faint if this show didn’t stop soon. A loud bang of a hammer on wood made me jump slightly, before “Sold for twelve point two five million.” was called out as the hammer came down once more. That’s it! It’s over! I have been sold for twelve and a quarter million. My heart thuds in my chest and I can feel myself starting to hyperventilate. My dress is lifted from the floor to cover me once more before I am led off the platform and stage in a daze. After leaving the room, I felt my legs give way and would have collapsed if it wasn’t for Silvy holding me up. I am suddenly scooped off my feet and feel myself being carried down the corridor and set down on something soft. “Is she okay?” a quiet voice asks. “I just think she is in shock,” Silvy replies. “Do I need to get the boss?” the quiet voice questions. “No, she’ll be fine. Just give us a minute.” A hand clasps mine as another hand strokes my hair. “It will be okay. You will be okay.” Silvy murmurs at me. “I want to see Conrad.” I told them, wanting comfort from something familiar. “Conrad?” Silvy asks, her confusion evident in her voice. I turned my head to look at her, “Yes, Conrad. My friend that came with me from my pack.” Her eyes darted to look over my shoulder and I twisted to look behind me. There stood a bulky muscular man in a t-shirt and jeans. He met Silvy’s look and shrugged before taking his phone out of his back pocket and striding off down the corridor. My eyes followed him until he disappeared around a corner, before they returned to Silvy, who smiled at me awkwardly. “What….?” I started to ask, but Silvy just shook her head and patted my hand. We sat in silence until the man returned. “The boss said that Conrad took the money and left.” “Left!?” I asked, tears welling in my eyes. “He just left. No goodbye, nothing?” The man shook his head, “No, sorry.” Gulping, I swallowed back my tears. Perhaps he wasn’t truly my friend after all. The man placed his hand on my shoulder, “It’s time. We must get you to your owner’s car now. He wants to leave.” He said quietly, his voice showing compassion for her. Taking a deep breath, I rose unsteadily to my feet and gestured for him to lead the way. He turned and strode off down the same corridor he had gone down earlier. I followed him, my bare feet barely making a sound on the tiled floor. I was led to a large open door. I could see the blue sky above the trees in the distance and, despite my melancholy state, I could not help but admire the beauty of the view. My enjoyment was ruined by the sound of a car horn. “Impatient sod!” the man in front of me murmured under his breath as we walked through the door and left the building. Waiting for them in the driveway was a black SUV. A man in a tailored suit stood next to the open back door which I was ushered into before it was slammed shut. I kept her eyes downward, focusing on my hands clasped in my lap. The car immediately pulled away with a screech of tyres on the tarmac and I felt myself slam into the back of my seat. The car was silent, and my eyes never once left my lap. I didn’t want to know who was in the car with me, I didn’t want to know what sad, lonely man would buy a woman. The car stopped and the driver got out of the car to open my door. He held out his hand to help me out of the car, but I didn’t acknowledge it. Instead, I used the car seat to help me get out. Looking around, I was surprised to see that they were in the middle of nowhere. I had expected to arrive at a house or building of some sort, but there was just a road and grass, with trees in the distance. “This way.” The driver said and walked towards the front of the car. That’s when I saw that another car was parked up in front of the SUV I had just left. The man led me to this other car, opened the door and gestured for me to climb in. I silently obeyed and the door was closed behind me. This time I looked around, there were two men in t-shirts sitting in the front and a man in a suit, with a black mask over his face, sat in the back next to me. My heart started pounding. What is going to happen to me? Why is he wearing a mask? “You will need your seatbelt dear.” The man next to me said, his voice rough and menacing. Quickly, I turned and grabbed my seatbelt with shaking hands, fastening it securely. “Who are you? What do you want with me?” I asked, my voice quavering in fear as the car started moving forward. “I want you for my collection.” He replied, turning to look at me. All I could see was his eyes through holes in his mask and they glinted with malice. “Co….Collection?” I stuttered. His hand reached out and tucked a loose hair behind my ear before trailing down my cheek to my neck. “Yes, I collect rare, beautiful things for my pleasure.” Fingers caressed my bare neck and shoulder, where my mark would be, before the tip of his finger slipped below the neckline of my dress. I tried to recoil away from his touch but found that I couldn’t move. He slowly slid his finger around the neck of my dress, coming to a stop between the swell of my breasts. “And I think you will give me lots of pleasure.” He said, leaning in to whisper it in my ear. Sitting back up, his eyes followed his finger as it made its way between my breasts and down to my navel. I closed my eyes, trying to blot out what was happening. If I couldn’t see it, it wasn’t real. His hand slid further down until it rested on my thigh, which he squeezed gently. “Such beauty!” he exclaimed. “You are already pleasuring me. Here, feel.” His hand left my thigh and grasped my hand, placing it on his groin. I could feel his pleasure building through his trousers as he moved my hand over his bulge. If I could have moved, I would have been physically sick. He laughed as he released my hand. I tried to withdraw it, but once more I couldn’t move. All I could do was just sit next to him with my hand resting on his ever-increasing bulge. By the time the car pulled into a gravel driveway, my hand had raised several centimetres and the man next to me had groaned constantly as he shifted his hips, rubbing his erection against my hand throughout the journey. “Have Cheryl meet us at the door” the man said, his voice strained and husky, as he continued to fidget beneath my hand. “Also, have Stacey taken to my rooms. As much as I would like to get the full experience from my new acquisition, I want her broken in slowly.” When the car stopped, the two men up front exited the car and then opened the back doors. The man groaned once more before leaning over and cupping my face, forcing me to look at him. “That was fun, beautiful! I can’t wait to take away your innocence.” And then he was gone, my hand fell to the seat no longer supported by his groin. My heart pounded and bile rose in my throat as I gasped for air. A hand grabbed my upper arm, and I was dragged out of the car. I was barely able to keep my feet under me as I was pulled up the steps that led to the front door of a large mansion. Standing in the doorway was an old matronly woman. “Cheryl, this is the boss’s new acquisition. You need to show her the ropes and get her settled in the harem. He wants her broken in slowly, but her innocence is his.” The man holding my arm stated. The woman, Cheryl, nodded her head before speaking meekly, “Yes sir.” Taking her place on the other side of me, she wrapped her hand around my other arm. “This way.” She said, leading me into the house.
