"He did what now?!" Shelly screamed on the other side of the screen. "I said I caught him locking lips with French b***h today," I repeated sadly. "Oh no! Nobody messes with my girl." Alissa shakes her head pitifully. I'm sure what is going on in her mind is how to castrate Sebastian before tomorrow morning. I was just filling Alissa and Shelly in on what happened earlier today. I went to my boyfriend's, no I mean, ex-boyfriend's house, I mean if he could be doing it with that la chienne, then he doesn't deserve to be called my boyfriend. Anyway, I went over to his house to welcome him back from New Zealand, that's where he and his family went for summer vacation and probably I could collect some souvenirs. Then I met him locking lips with my only archnemesis. You'd think they'd be more subtle about it, but no! They decided to do it in the living room like nobody is gonna walk right in. "Girl," Alissa snaps me out of my flashback, "you're way out of his league." Yeah, I've heard that plenty of times. Boy number 3 and I'm still way out of his league, it's starting to bug me. So I asked him out, yeah I did the talking and surprisingly he said yes. Then we started dating, things were great until French biatch came into the picture. They were supposed to be partners for the history project and bam! Things started to change. He started hanging out with her more than me, he would cancel our dates just so they could work on the 'project' together. "Everyone would be talking about it tomorrow." I groaned and buried my face into my palms. "Amber, you need to calm down," Shelly said, "nobody cares what they think, as long as you're okay." I gave her a grateful smile. "Thanks, guys, you're the best," I said. "Yeah, we know." Alissa waved me off, "so you're still up for shopping tomorrow?" She asked. "Alissa!" Shelly shouted. "What?" She asked innocently. "We went shopping yesterday," Shelly argued. "So? she needs to take her mind of this matter." She defended and Shelly scoffed. "It's okay guys, I'll be there," I said to stop their bickering. "Cool, and you should wear that leather shorts you bought, to show off your smooth legs." Alissa wiggled her eyebrows and Shelly rolled her eyes, "that'll make him regret picking Bri over you." "Yeah, I'll do that," I said. "Great! See you at school." She piped and her screen went blank. "And don't think about it too much okay?" Shelly added and I nodded to assure her. "Bye!" She waved and I ended the video call. I sighed and sink further into my chair. After I stared at the ceiling for minutes, my phone buzzed and I sat up to check the notification. It was from i********:. I opened it and saw 306 comments on the post I posted earlier this morning when I didn't know what was coming after me. It was a picture of Sebastian and me, it was taken on the day they were to leave for New Zealand. I also 16 tags and 58 messages. "Are you kidding me?!" I said in disbelief. I tapped the tags, to see who tagged me and I saw another couple of pictures of Sebastian and me, it was a day in school we were seated on the bleachers and making funny faces for the camera. It was a two-in-one picture, so I swiped to see the next picture. My phone almost fell out of my hand when I said the picture of Sebastian and Bridgette smiling at the camera, I swiped up quickly to read the caption. Goodbye team Shebber, welcome team Shebbri. That stupid fucker! How dare he?! I went ahead to open my messages and I saw a lot of good wishers; You're gonna be okay Amber. You were too good for him. Did you break up with him or did he break up with you cause I don't get the gist? But majority bad mouthers; Turns out Bri is better than you. I guess you can't give some guys everything. About time sebby dumped your sorry ass. I can't believe he's been telling people he broke up with me. I clenched my jaw and angrily threw my phone on my bed. It bounced and landed on the floor. I regretted my action in 5 seconds, "no, no, no!" I said and ran quickly to where it was lying on the floor. I picked it up to see if it was broken. "Thank God!" I said when I saw it was okay, luckily it fell on the fluffy rug under my bed. I switched it off when I kept on getting notifications and put it on my bed stand. I slumped into my bed and push back the tears that were threatening to fall out. This was not the way I pictured our break up, I thought it would be because he would go to school somewhere far away and we could not do long distance. I promised myself that I wouldn't cry. If he could go on to do what he was doing with Bridgette then he isn't worth my tears. The water in my eyes fell freely when they became heavy, so I let them. I cried so much that my eyes ached. I fell unto my bed and cried myself to sleep.
