Chapter 90: Student and master

“ What a battle it was, I can't believe both of us got eliminated. Guess we have to wait another ten years till we get to compete again. I really wanna go home. " Kosei is upset over his defeat against Antonio. Hayashi and kosei are both hurt, they have a few injuries which will take a few weeks till they get in their best shape. John tzimiske was satisfied with the two boys, doing so well in just a year is a big achievement. Both the boys have given their best and have gone beyond all expectations. John is proud of them, but doesn't expect either of them to keep up their performance. The next tournament will be much better for both. The competition that John has set out to create should be a strong opponent, and hopefully, the boys would do what they have been trying to show him all week. The two of them had improved tremendously, their teamwork is better than ever. They have even been able to team up on other people who were stronger opponents, and they could work together very effectively. It made John feel proud.

“ No time no mourn you two, the finale is tomorrow. Let's enjoy the match and return back to Japan. I am sure you two made a lot of new friends, there are so many epic adventures you will have in the future. There's no time to become upset over such things, cheer up and let's go to a restaurant. " John tzimiske cheers the two boys up and leaves for some food. “ Come on guys, I know a great ramen house. We don't have to buy any expensive things, it's on me okay? “ The boys nod their heads and follow after their leader. “ Great now let's go!

The city of Babylon is shining all over as the tournament is finally coming to its closure. The sun shines down on everyone from afar and the citizens look so happy and lively. Even though it's been less than six months since the tournament started, people seem to have forgotten about it by now. The entire city of Babylon feels like a huge community, which has a great atmosphere. The air here is filled with the fresh smell of flowers, grasses and trees, which gives the illusion of being somewhere very close to the ocean or mountains. The whole city is full of noise and excitement. Even without being inside the main arena, everything is buzzing and alive with energy. The streets are crowded with people, all moving towards the entrance of the arena. Everyone talks loudly, yelling at each other in different languages. There are quite a few Japanese people here too, but mostly foreigners who want to attend this tournament. After getting into the arena, they head straight to a restaurant, hoping the food will provide some distraction for the boys.. But John wants them to relax a little before the final game. He's been studying how they perform, and they did a good job, so he wanted them to be relaxed. The boys sit in front of John, eating some ramen and chatting about whatever comes to mind. They finish their meal and leave the restaurant together. They continue through the crowd and walk up a hill, until they come upon a small clearing. The sun shines right on them and their cheeks glows a bright shade of yellow. Kosei and Hayashi stop for a moment to admire the view and appreciate the peaceful place that they've found. It's quiet, there aren' any tourists anywhere, which means that it's a perfect location for relaxing. John notices that they're alone, and turns around. He takes one look at the two boys and smiles. He sees the same relaxed expression that his students gave him, and he knows that they're completely fine. As long as they focus on something else, they're perfectly fine. He knows how hard it can be for them to stay focused when their minds is on the games. When they're not thinking about the tournament, their minds drift off to other places. John's always glad when they focus on something positive. This is probably one of the reasons he likes them so much. He knows they'll make the best warriors he could ask for. “ Alright, enough looking at the view. Why don't you tell me what your plans are for tomorrow, and we can go play in the sand. ” Kosei looks confused at his words and Hayashi laughs softly. “ It's a simple idea. You'll see. “ John continues. “ Well, I've been practicing with my sword. “ Kosei points to the sword that's laying by his side. “ Yeah, and I think i've been improving a lot with that too.” Hayashi speaks up.

“ The sword is a perfect weapon for you hayashi, while kosei doesn't need one. Though learning to use it and get improved is a good thing. Huh, how about we go to China next time? There are so many things to show you guys, I also have one of my students who lives there. Let's hear there immediately after the tournament, instead of going back to Japan. What do you guys say? " John tzimiske gets excited over their next adventure. The two boys also get excited as they wanted to go there. John's student has told them about some cool places to visit, and they wanted to see them too. “ Of course! That would be awesome senpai! ” Hayashi says happily. John chuckles lightly. “ Yeah, and I'd love to take a photo with you guys. It would mean a lot to me if you would do that for me. “ Kosei nods, understanding why John chose this place for their trip, even though it's not exactly what they expected from their master. John is someone who believes in a good environment for his students, especially ones that are struggling with a certain area in their education. The boys agreed to John' request, smiling as they thought about seeing the wonderful sights and meeting people.“ Ok, then the day after tomorrow morning. Let's go to the shop first. “ John tells them. “ And then maybe we can go to the arcade.” Kosei adds, wanting to try out some games. “ Yes, arcade! “ The two boys agree.

“ That tihsan boy who defeated Krishna is also from china, so you would love to hang out with him in his hidden village. That Chinese hidden village has many mysteries unknown to outsiders. Including the legendary dragon, which tihsan got his power from. Even the eternals society doesn't know much about that mystery dragon." This information makes the two boys even more excited about the adventure.

A few hours later the boys are in bed, sleeping peacefully. Tomorrow is gonna be a very memorable day indeed.
