Suddenly A Luna Chapter 14 Possessive Mate

Jaxsun's POV

Light shining in the room wakes me up. I nuzzle my gorgeous mate and sniff her hair. Her scent alone arouses Me. She moves and her ass rubs against my erection, causing me to groan.

Unsure if she is awake or not I keep still, not wanting to wake her just yet. I love being able to watch her without her knowing. It gives me time to really study her. She seems happy enough, though last night when I walked back in the room her sleep seemed anything but peaceful. Her face was contorted in pain and she was covered in sweat, as if she was having a night terror.

It filled me with fear, worse then I've ever known, aside from my brother disappearing anyway. Shaking my thoughts away, I snuggle closer to my mate.

Thinking of what's to come, wondering what punishment she will decide on for that psycho b***h Annabelle. Hopefully whatever she decides will have Annabelle far away from here. Itleast that way she couldn't hurt my sweet Brenna.

As if thinking her name woke her,, the goddess next to me is awake and looking back at me with her amazing green eyes. I could get lost in her eyes. My d**k twitches against her ass, as she moved Turning to face me.

"Good morning my love." I whisper, kissing her nose.

She yawns and says "Good morning to you too hottie." her face turns red. I love it when she blushes. She starts to pull the comforter up to hide her face.

Quickly stopping her I say something that shocks her "Don't hide your beautiful face from me baby. I love that you blush so easily. I wonder what else will make you turn red...." I wink at her and pull her lips to mine.

Brenna's POV

I pull away from the kiss, trying to catch my breath. I have to admit waking up in be with Jax sure has it's perks. Other then the obvious, I sleep better in his arms then I have in years. I kiss him softly and sit up in bed.

Looking back at him I say "I know we have a lot to talk about, but first caffeine is a must. Would you mind making some while I go to the bathroom?" I pout at him with my best puppy dog eyes "please?".

He sits up as well and kisses me on the cheek. "Anything for you my love" he replies before getting out of bed and leaving the room, naked as the day he was born. I roll my eyes at his nudity and head to the bathroom.

When I exit the bathroom, Jax is walking towards me with our coffee. Mmm I'm not sure what smell is more intoxicating right now, the coffee or him.

*Definitely him and you know it* Kyra says sleepily. *You know he could wake us up better then the coffee too*

Laughing to myself I sit down on the chaise lounge and Jax joins me.

Grabbing my coffee, somehow without spilling it all over us, I take a tentative sip and wait a few minutes before drinking it down.

Jax clears his throat and says "Are you ready to talk now baby?" I nod without speaking. "Am I in the dog house? No pun intended" he asks smiling.

I'm sure he's trying to lighten the mood and it makes me love him even more. I can't believe I love this man already but from what he's said it's normal for mates.

Shrugging my shoulders, I smile at him tentatively before speaking. "No...you're not in the dog house. I want to talk to you about Annabelle though".

I watch as he nods his head waiting for me to go on. "I don't want her to die because of me." His eyes become angry but he doesn't say anything. "I decided to have her banished. Itleast this way she can't try it again. What do you think?".

He doesn't say anything for a few minutes, making me shift uncomfortably next to him. Then I watch as his body relaxes and his eyes fill with pride. "As much as I would love to rip her throat out for trying to kill you, I think you've made a wise decision Brenna" he says and then kisses me softly.

Our kiss quickly becomes heated and passionate. Our mouths clashing roughly and our tongues entwined. I moan as his hand slips into my hair and pulls slightly. I break the kiss to catch my breath and he lifts me up so that I am straddling him.

My n*****s harden and he groans as I push my breasts up against his chest. He breaks the kiss for a moment and rips his shirt off of me, tossing it to the side somewhere.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Jax glares at it, irritated about the interruption. I laugh as I climb off of him and duck into the bathroom while he reluctantly goes to the door.

I pee and grab the one toothbrush on the counter by the sink. I put toothpaste on it and brush my teeth. I doubt he will mind because of the whole mate thing, besides it's not like I've been back to my apartment to get my things. I should probably do that soon. I can't keep wearing his clothes, they're way too big for me and I want my stuff.

I can't believe so much has changed in just the few days since we met. Everything is changing at lightning speed. Though if I'm being honest, I am both terrified and excited. about this new life.

As I am finishing up Jax opens the door holding something purple and frilly.

"Your best friend told me to give this to you....something about her wanting you to feel comfortable while also looking your best" He says, handing it to me.

I realize it's a simple purple summer dress. Addy is my lifesaver once again. Smiling, I put it on and Jax leads me back to the bedroom with his hand on my lower back. Even that simple touch sends fireworks throughout my body. I love his touch, and want to continue what we started before we were interrupted. However that's obviously not an option as Jax ushers me out of the bedroom, and to the bar outside of the suites. The smell of coffee hits me and I smile happily, that there's still some left.

Addy and Damien, who were sitting on one of the couches, stand up and walk over to us as I pour two cups of coffee. I hand one to Jax and add a ton of sugar and creamer to mine. I drink mine down as quickly as I can without burning my mouth.

When I look up Addy is watching me with an odd look on her face. One I've never seen from her before so I'm not sure what it means.

I look over at Jax and back to Addyson and her mate. Damien looks at Jax and then back at Addy. I watch as Addy rolls her eyes and pulls me into a hug. "So B, I need to get some things from my place. I figured you do too. Wanna head out after breakfast together? It will also give us some much needed girl time together" she says excitedly, bouncing up and down.

"Oh....yes that would be great Addy. I'm actually not that hungry so if you want to we can go now and get breakfast on the way back?" I say, pleading to her with my eyes.

Jax growls next to me and pulls me to him. What the hell is this about really? I look at him, searching for anything that might reveal why he's reacting this way. He seems tense but that could just be because we've been together since we met basically. I can't believe its only been a few days though.

Damien clears his throat "Jax is worried that you won't come back" he says with a pointed look at my mate.

I let out a shaky laugh and kiss Jax fiercely. "I will be back, I promise. You have nothing to worry about. I need my own stuff anyway. The sooner the better" I say kissing him again before looking back to my best friend.

Addy looks at Jax and he nods. "Let's roll B" she squeals cheerily, kissing Damien before she grabs my arm and we walk together down the stairs to find her car.
