Prologue 1

Prologue………….

My heart was pounding so fast in my chest as I approached him. The air felt cold and heavy as if it was holding its own breath. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves from nervousness but my body betrayed me. It trembled uncontrollably and I couldn't stop it.

" I want to break up with you!" I managed to shout, my voice was almost trembling.

" This is just a d-dare," I added, stuttering.

A small smirk crept across his lips. Darling.... you can't break me up that easily" He stood up slowly, his eyes fixated at me with threat and intensity. " And that little game of yours..." I tried to move back away, but I have nowhere to go. I close my eyes and feel the panic and nervousness that washes over my body. I felt my breath come in gasp while I tried to process every detail of his words. His hand slowly made its way to cupped my chin, forcing me to look him in the eyes. His blue eyes were filled with a mixture of anger and hurt

." You bumped into the wrong person Darling." He whispered in my ear, his breath warm against my neck and ear. " And you're stuck with me now."

A shiver of electronics intensifies towards my spine as I maintain my composure yet I can't, I felt myself slowly guarding down not from fear but from the electric sensation I felt with him.

As He took the last step, his final words echoed in my mind.

“ If you ever leave me.. I wouldn’t think twice to kill myself…. Now darling the choice is yours.”
