Rafael watched Veronica sleep soundly. He carefully got up without making loud noise and changed into his new set of clothes. He went back to her side after and gently brushed her hair. Rafael doesn't want to wake her up, but he intends to keep his promise.
"I love you. I'll be back soon," he whispered and left the room. He went out of the packhouse and saw Jarvis's car parked in front. Rafael knocked on his window. Jarvis rolled it down and looked at him.
"Keep her safe," he said. Jarvis nodded his head. Rafael walked back to the training grounds where the warriors were waiting for him. With his head held up high, he entered the grounds. All eyes were on him. Tequila joined him in the center with Talon also beside him.
