Chapter Nineteen
He stalked back to Taz’s cottage and took the steps up two at a time. He packed his clothes in his bag and was halfway down the stairs when Scarlett walked in, wearing indecently short cutoffs and a tank top that plunged, showing her cleavage. Yeah, she had a great body, curvy, toned, and she flashed him a killer smile that screamed trouble.
“Scarlett,” he said. He noted she was barefoot as she closed the inside door behind her and leaned against it. Of course now every one of his alarm bells was going off. “What are you doing?”
She shrugged and rested her hand on her hip. She was trying to play a woman’s role, teasing him, and she was headed for a load of trouble.
“Your parents know you’re in here?” he said and started into the bathroom.
