Caught in Between Two Alphas

Chapter 2

I was able to meet up with the deadline set by the betas and I was also able to avoid my throat being gripped and crushed again

I washed the dishes as the betas ate their food hungrily

After cleaning up, I proceeded to cleaning and sweeping the whole mansion

As I cleaned the living room, Alpha Eric walked in, the man that killed my parents, dissipated my pack and turned me into a lowly slave!

"Good morning Alpha" I greeted, keeping my cool

"Is breakfast ready?" He asked

"Yes Alpha, I've already set yours on the dining table" I replied

"I heard you will be amongst the female wolves turning 18 tomorrow, that means you'll also be participating in the mate claiming ceremony tomorrow" Alpha Eric said

"That's right Alpha" I nodded

"Hopefully at least the goddess will pair you up with an omega, they might be low and lone wolves but getting mated to them will make you an omega too which is a little bit better than continuing to live as a slave right?" Alpha Eric asked and I wanted grab my broomstick and shove it into his mouth for thinking me so low

"Right Alpha" I agreed as my wolf boiled with rage from within

"I'm sure you are grateful that you ended up in a good pack like mine, continue your work and let's see how tomorrow pans out" Alpha Eric said and proceeded to the dining room

I finished cleaning up the living room and I proceeded to sweep the porch of the Mansion

I felt a stone suddenly hit my head and my eyes rolled back into their sockets for a moment

I opened my eyes to see Emma with some other wolves holding a couple of stones and targeting them at me

"What are you doing Emma?!" I questioned

Emma is Alpha Eric's only daughter and Ashford's younger sister, she has a crappy personality like the rest of her family, she is a psychopath that derives joy in hurting me though she's two years younger than I am

"What does it look like we are doing? We are trying to have fun Renee" Emma grinned as she lurched another stone at me

I quickly moved away and avoided getting hit by the stone, my forehead was probably very red from the first hit of the stone, I ain't about to get hit again

"Stop dodging the stones Renee, it's no fun if you do that" Emma and his friends complained

"You do not actually expect me to stand still like a mannequin while you throw stuffs at me do you?!" I asked trying to keep my anger in check

"That's exactly what I expect of you Renee so stand still else I'm gonna report you to Dad for disobeying my orders and you will be punished" Emma warned and I took a deep breath

Be calm Renee, be calm, you only have to endure this for one day more, by nightfall tomorrow, you'll be out of here and you will have to endure these shits no more

"Fine Emma, suit yourselves, you and your friends should throw all your stones at me, I won't dodge them, I'm going to heal in the end anyway" I conceded and Emma and her friends leaped up with joy

I continued to sweep the porch while Emma and her friends threw their stones at me and I made no attempt to dodge them. I got hit on my back a few times but my head suffered the most hits as they seemed to be targeting my head, so much that it soon began to bleed

"What are you girls doing?!" I heard Ashford's voice and I looked up to see him staring at me and I could have sworn that he really looked angry and pissed off

"Good morning brother, we throwing stones at Renee and it's really fun, will you join us?" Emma offered

"Get back inside Emma" Ashford uttered

"What?" Emma asked

"I said get back inside!! All of you!!!" Ashford yelled and the girls immediately scampered away

Ashford stood for a moment staring at me, he then heaved a sigh and strode off

What was that? Did Ashford just save me? No he probably just found the girl's noise irritating and that's why he drove them away

I touched my forehead and I winced in pain, it was all sore from all the hits and it was bleeding too

"It's okay Renee, you'll heal" I assured myself

I rounded up my sweeping and cleaning, then I ambled down the pack's territory to a secluded lake that was silent and enclosed by numerous trees

I got to the lake and let down my ragged gown, submerging myself into the cold water and enjoying the pleasant feeling of the cold water waving past my skin

I washed my black waist length hair and I decided to stay in the cold calm water just a little longer

Tomorrow is going to mark a great milestone in my life, I will be participating in the mate claiming ceremony and I will also be escaping from this pack that have held me captive for such a long time

I have endured all sorts of demeaning treatments from the halfmoon pack, I have been thrown out and punished under the pouring sky because I missed a spot while polishing the table, my head have been banged against the wall because I failed to wake Emma up on time for her morning work out, I have been choked and almost killed because I didn't bow my head low enough when the Alpha walked by, I have been starved for a week for disobeying Emma when she asked me to prostrate before her just for the fun of it, I have been treated lesser than animals and I have been silent all this while, but I will escape this nightmare, find the remnant of my pack and come back for a good old revenge fight

I suddenly heard some rustling behind the trees and I immediately looked back, my eyes darting around for the slightest sign of a person that might be hiding behind the trees

I heard footsteps darting away from the lake and I quickly came out of the water, wore my gown and ran in the direction I heard the footsteps

I ran on and I soon got to the Alpha's mansion where I saw Ashford standing transfixed, overlooking the mansion

He looked at me and he looked pissed off

"Could you not even manage to take a proper bath and dry yourself up before running around with a wet hair!" Ashford chided loudly

"I'm sorry" I apologized

"That word seems to be the only thing I hear from you these days and I find it absolutely annoying, three days from now my father will abdicate his authority to me and I will become the Alpha of Halmoon pack, until then, stay clear of me Renee, I need my mental health for the coronation ceremony and you are currently a threat to that" Ashford said and walked off

I shrugged off Ashford's words and proceeded into the mansion to make lunch for everyone

Fast forward to nightfall, after a long typical day filled with house chores and bullying, I finally completed washing all of the plates we used for dinner and I proceed to my corner under the stairs

As I walked towards my corner, I ambled past Ashford's room and I could hear what sounded like moans of ecstacy

"Oh my goddess! Ashford! You are deep inside of me Ashford! s**t! Faster! Faster! Ahhh!!!"

I walked past Ashford's room shaking my head, he is at it again, I'm sure he has f****d all the omegas in the pack by now, he is such a big player and it can be so annoying sometimes......
