Chapter 5

Kendal Pov:

It's been a few days since that night. I had a dream about that night 2 years ago when I lost my family. Mick stayed with me that night and I  was so glad. usually, I don't let anyone in but that night I really needed someone, and Mick was there, and honestly, I'm so glad it was him. We have become close after that we study together and watch movies sometimes we even play some games. well our friends come over sometimes and since it's only me and him who are unmated we make fun of them and they just ignore us but he and I are having fun anyway. 

Today is Wednesday we are having another movie night but for now, we are in the library studying for the exams. on Friday is our last day of school and we are graduating. on Saturday it's my birthday and I'm finally going to be able to shift, and I can't wait. Ann and I are so excited for Saturday its also fool moon. 

"Hey, are you excited for this weekend?" John asks he is a good friend of mine he is like a brother to me. He is always looking out for me and whenever something is wrong he is always there to fix it its kind of weird but he reminds me of my brother and it warms my heart. "Yes, honestly I can't wait. we finally finish school and graduate and also on Saturday ill be able to shift so I honestly can't wait." I say and Mick comes into our convo "wait Saturday is your birthday?" he askes "yeah well I didn't tell you well sorry I thought you knew since all everyone else does. sorry so on Friday we are gonna celebrate my birthday and finishing school together. You are coming right?" I ask and he nods "Duhh obviously I'm coming what kind of friend would I be?" and I just hug him and we go back to studying.

We go back to our apartment and start getting ready for movie night. "hey Mick ill go shower real quick and be right back okay?" he nods and I just go to my room to shower. 

it takes me 15 minutes to shower and I open the door to my room with just a towel and start walking to my closet to get my clothes out when Mick opens my door and we just stand there staring at each other. He is only wearing pants and his abbs are all out for me to look at and my towel isn't covering all that much either so we just stand there looking at each other. "Hey umm... S-so-sorry I thought you were still in the shower." he studders "Umm it's okay I just got out. Anyway, what is it?" I asked, "Noah called and he said that they would not be able to make it." he said and starts walking towards me with lust in his eyes. I don't say anything but start going backward and hit the wall behind me. I'm nervous not because he is coming it because I don't know what to do if he kisses me I've never been kissed, and  TBH I wouldn't mind if my first was Mick. My wolf cant stop jumping up and down in my head which makes this even harder so I studer "Umm M-Mick we ... we Cant" I say and he doesn't care I really don't either he is about to kiss me when...
