Chapter 4

Mick Pov:

I couldn't believe how Kendal talked to me, no one and I mean no one has ever talked to me like that, and it was shocking but also hot. I met Kendal when she first came to the school. she was only 15 almost 16 but she looked like she lost everything. So no one really knows what happened to her. She never opens up to anyone even after a year of trying to the school faculty gave up trying she looked better after few months, and she also gave them some information and she was already on the list of kids who were supposed to attend the school here so no one asked more questions.

She is 5.7ft tall and light brown hair with ocean blue eyes and perfect skin. She is a beautiful girl but also a handful her mate is going to be the luckiest person but he is also gonna have his hands full of her. 

It hard for me to sleep in a new bed so it takes me some time to fell asleep. However, I was wakened up by Kendal screaming and crying "PLease mom Let me stay, I don't want to leave without you" and she keeps screaming the same thing over and over again and crying I try to wake her up "Hey wake up its okay its just a dream" I try to wake her up and she opens her eyes and hugs me and keeps crying. I don't know what to do so I lay there and try to calm her down. She calms down and we both fell asleep in her bed together. 

I wake up in the morning confused as I don't remember bringing anyone over last night and it hits me 'You i***t' my wolf Zack tells me 'shut up you i***t' I respond and ask 'hey what should I do? should I just leave or stay?' I ask Zack 'How should I know? But look at her! I wish she were our mate she is beautiful' he says, and I look at her, and I can't believe what I'm seeing. I've never seen someone sleep so beautifully. Her here is shining under the sun and she looks like an angel in the bed next to me. I push her hair aside and she opens her eyes. I don't move cas I'm scared of what might she say. She turns to my side and looks at me in my eyes and smiles. "thank You for staying for the night. and I'm sorry you had to witness that" and she looks down with a sad face. "Hey, it's fine really! if you wanna talk about it I'm here for you, but if not then we can act like it didn't happen. For now, let's get up and get something to eat I'm starving you must be too." I tell her, She smiles and responds "Okay deal. Go get ready I'll do the same, and then let's go get some food," she says and I go to my room to get ready. 

I keep remembering her face and how she was sleeping in my arms and I shake my head. 'what if she is our mate? Would you still be against having a mate?' Zack asks in my head. I don't really want a mate I know it's someone created for you and she gives you strength but she also gives you the weakness and that's what scares me. 'Hey you know why I don't want a mate and if she was my mate I would be the luckiest man alive but I can't think like that because what if she isn't then what?' i ask my wolf and he just goes back deep in my head.
