Fate had a different plan

Evelyn's POV Since a young age Kyle had a high admiration for his father and liked me , l was naturally attracted to him and his personality and decided to help him rule the pack as his Luna. But those were childish dreams. After ten years at the age of sixteen he started to get out of control. He went to parties, drank, smoked and went with a lot of girls. Me and the Alpha tried to get him out of the hole but it didn't work. So we thought the only way for him to return to his former loving self was if he felt the mate connection. So it was seven days until his birthday. Everyone couldn't wait to have the old Kyle back and so do l. The sun had started to rise but l didn't fell at all rested, because l had stayed awake the entire night chewing on my nails. I had a bad feeling about this upcoming week. I took my nails out of my mouth and put my head in my hands. I gave myself a head massage and took what little time l had to rest. "SISTEEEEER WAKE UPP" Two little voice's shouted. I turned on the other side only to get jumped by two little ten year olds. "Sissssss wake up if you don't mom's going to come up" The two little voice's said in sync. I took a breath and decided to play with them. I jumped up covering them in blankets and then using the openings to tickle them. Loud laughter filled my room which were a lot better then a nervous silence. The two angel's started to tickle me back but l wasn't ticklish so l pretended to be. After laughing for a long time our mother came in my room. "Have l missed the fun" Our mother asked leaning on the door when the two angles ran over to her "Go downstairs breakfast is ready" When they heard that they immediately ran downstairs. My mother shut the door and looked at me sadly. She must have realized that l had stayed up all night because of the bags under my eyes. Her motherly instincts must have told her that l was anxious ,because she ran over to me and tightly hugged me. Without hesitation l hugged her back tears threatening to fall down. After a long time in her embrace she kissed my cheek. "I know the pressure of being the oldest is tough ,the pressure with Kyle's birthday and the possibilities as well as the pressure to be the best in school. If you don't want to go to school today you don't have to, you can join your dad outdoors" My mother said Kissing my forehead. I thought it over for a couple of minutes until shaking my head " Yes l think that would be a good idea l need a break as well" l said kissing my mother's cheek. The both of us went downstairs to join the twins and our father for breakfast. The twins Jack and Jill were stuffing there faces with pancakes and our father was waiting for us with a half empty plate. We looked at each other and sat on our chairs and also started to down our breakfast. "How's it going" My father said clearly directing the question to me after patting me on the head. "I'm doing great , actually l wanted to tell you that l would be joining you today" l said looking at my father. "Whaaaaaat no fair what about us" Jack said standing up on the chair in protest. "The two of you have school"Mother said with a humongously threatening smile. Jack immediately sat back down. "But sister also has school today" Jill complained as well. "Hmmm the last time l checked Evelyn was the one getting C's in English" Mother said. I stuck out my tong at them whitch made them also stick there tong out out me but that only made mom reprimand them. After breakfast l ran to my room and prepared for a trip through the woods. I packed some sweets, water and etc. I ran downstairs and saw my father already prepared but of course my mother kept him busy and stuffing his stuff with too much food. While she was doing that l looked out the window and saw an open car with a brown haired man with peanut brown eyes , accompanied by a skinny girl with dyed blond hair and dark chocolate eyes. It was Kyle with his favourite tast of the this week Claire. I clutched my backpack at the site. I banged my head on the window and took a deep breath when l turned around to my mother and father they were both staring at me. "What" l said with a smile. My mother sighed sadly ,but quickly changed her expression. "Alright both of you watch out, keep yourself's safe don't get hurt and most importantly have a good time" With one last goodbye kiss the both of us went into the garage and opened it giving site to the black jeep. We went inside and Drow to the mountains. When we got there the gamma and some warriors where there as well. "Look who it is the future Luna" One warrior said earning a push from me.The other warriors laughed while l sighed aggressively. I ignored there snarky remarks and thought that this was going to be a nice break from the worrying situation. I closed my eyes and took in the fresh air
