Fate had a different plan

Part 3- It isn't fair

Evelyn's POV

A black wolf stood Infront of her seemingly protecting her. We all stood there surprise. Non of us could do anything.

As l started sniffing the air l felt a familiar sent Kyle. I took one step closer but he immediately growled at me as if.....

"NON OF YOU CAN TOUCH MY MATE" a loud voice boomed inside my head.

Everyone tensed up at that sentence. MATE he said. As l thought over his words my entire world turned black as the world around me started to go black. But before l reached the ground two gentle hands grabbed me.

As my consciousness came back to me l remembered what happened. Immediately l sat up and opened my eyes being met with a bright light. I started blinking and slowly got adjusted to the light.

I was in the hospital. A nurse quickly walked twords me and handed me a glass of water. As she watched me drink the water, l saw pity and concern in her eyes. I gave back the glass and took a deep gulp.

"What happened!" I asked in a demanding tone. The nurse just stood with her head down and stayed silent. "Pleas tell me l'm begging you" l said in a more pitiful voice small warm tears running down my face

The nurse approached me and patted my head. She sighed deeply before opening her mouth

"The future Alpha took the rouge into his room claiming that he was his mate but the Alpha and Luna aren't too happy about this" The nurse said taking a step back " l-l'm sorry"

"About what? you weren't the one that took in a rouge and insisted on it being his mate" l said laying down on the bed.

"And ummm that rouge girl" the nurse said not finishing her sentence.

"What about her" l asked curiously.

"She is the daughter of Alpha Alex Blood, some of the warriors mentioned that l can't be for sure but l've also seen her up close because the future alpha asked me to treat her but it seems to be true" The nurse said shaking slightly.

Suddenly cold blood ran over me as l heated the name. Alex Blood he was a terrible man ,everywhere he had stood was shortly covered in blood. War was just an everyday occurrence in his life. His name held fear in everyone's eyes.

This was bad news for the pack having his daughter as our Luna would rather lead to war or he would use the pack and it warriors for his twisted satisfaction.

There are to many risks to having her here and especially as the future Luna of the pack since l'm supposed to fill out that place in the pack. It's not fair for a nobody to come out of nowhere and to bring a risk to our pack.

I should be the one to be by his side right now. I've delt with the suffering of seeing him with other girls far to often and waited for him. I even fought hard for him to keep the alpha position. Why isn't it me. Why can't l get what l want. Why can't l get something at least. Why. Why. Why.

After a few sets of tears ,l took some time to calm down and left the bed in a hurry. I ran over into the pack house and marched up the stairs to his room.

I arrived at the corridor on the third floor where l saw the girl in Kyle's arm's.

"What are the both of you doing!" I yelled. Approaching the fast.

"I'm holding My mate" he exclaimed while tightening his hold of her.

"I can see that you are holding a rouge and someone that isn't your FIANCE" l said about to beat up the both of them.

"s**t UP your so pathetic, still clinging to me like that , it was the worst choice of my life to ever agree for you to be my fiance" He said moving to the side.

"I think you've got it mixed up it was a mistake to defend you oh and watch out little girl you might be his flavor for only a month after that he'll go back to his old habits and play around with different girls" l said tears threatening to fall over.

"No he won't! We are mate's you are just a normal girl that just got lucky to get close to a guy like him" She said facing me with a mad expression.

"Oh my the little rat talks" l said making Kyle launch his arm for my neck but was stopped by the alpha.

"What are you doing to Evelyn" The alpha said using the alpha tone which made the both of them shiver " You have no right to talk to her like that after the ugly face you had shown these past two years"

"SHE HAS NO RIGHT TO YELL AT THE FUTURE ALPHA LIKE THAT" Kyle yelled also releasing alpha hormones.

"You dare speak to your father like that" The alpha said ready to break Kyle apart

"How about we all calm down" A soft voice said touching the alpha's arm "Why don't we discuss this over dinner, our pack member's have started to feel uncomfortable" the Luna said glaring at the girl.

Kyle grabbed the girls arm and stormed upstairs. The Luna walked over to me and gave me a soft smile.

"I'm sorry he had really crossed the line this time" The alpha said petting my head "At this point you're more of a daughter then he is a son"

"Let's go to downstairs l want to talk to you about Melissa" The Luna said while l just raised and eyebrow"Oh yes sorry the rouge's name is Melissa I'd like to collect some information at least to open my son's eyes.
