Part 4- Best Friends Forever

Evelyn's POV

We were currently in the Luna's office. Talking about Melissa over sweets and tea.

" I think it would be for the better if you let go of Kyle" The Luna said making my entire body tens up.

"What why" l asked not able to think straight anymore.

"My son isn't worthy of you and the moon goddess is obviously trying to pull the both of you apart maybe for the better. If it really was fated for you and Kyle you would have been mated to him. I'm sorry l know how much you love him and how long you've waited for him. Maybe the feeling of love was actually the feeling of obligation just remember that it's not your fault it's his" The Luna said that in a sad voice while looking at the ground.

"Yes l see" l said standing up and heading twords the door " l'm sorry but l need some alone time"

As l headed outside of the pack house my phone started to ring. It was Daisy my bff . She had been on vacation these past few weeks and she's now coming back for Kyle's birthday she was a elite pack member's daughter so she had to listen to the alpha.

I could use someone to talk to that's around my age. I picked up and put the phone to my ear.

"EVELYN" Daisy yelled at the other end of the phone "Where are you right now"

"At the pack house why" As l said that the call ended. I stoped dead in my tracks. I couldn't place a finger on what she was doing

As l started to move again l heard a car coming full speed twords me. As l backed away a black BMW stopped Infront of me almost hiding me. As l was picking up my heart from the ground the door opened and inside was Daisy.

"Hop in we've got a lot to talk about" She said gesturing for me to come inside so l did.

"What the hell" l said closing the door and putting on my seat belt before she started her car again.

" No time to be sappy were having our party tonight who cares about some stupid pack party were going to do whatever we want" She said without taking a breath.

"Calm down what are we doing l haven't even had time to cry in my room" l said sadly. She was the only one l could tell my actual fellings to.

"Nooo you can't were going to find a sweet supstance and not something that's disguising as suger" She said almost zooming to my house.

"What? you're not even making sense anymore" l said clucking to my seat.

"We're here" Daisy said before abruptly stopping the car.

Daisy quickly got out of the car even opening the door for me. I undid my seatbelt and went inside my house.

"Hello miss Layla and mister Dylan" Daisy said to my parents.

"Hello Daisy" Mom said while dad waved at us.

My mom turned her head twords me with a sad smile. I simply nodded my head to her to tell her that l'm ok or at least make sure she isn't worried for me at least not as much as she is now.

The both of us walked upstairs to my room. I sat down on my bed but Daisy started to look through my wardrobe. She threw every dress l had on the bed.

When she turned around l raised my eyebrows at her.

"Oh come on were seniors we should have fun. He had fun for two years and left you alone in the dark *cough* anyway you have no say in this so no complaining" Daisy said.

"We don't need to we could just watch movie have a slumber party and talk about the stuff that infuriates us" l said standing up and hugging Daisy "But thank you so much"

"No we're going we always have slumber parties let's change it up a bit trust ne you'll have fun your hourglass shape would attract a lot of big fish" Daisy said winking at me. She walked over to the door and poked her head out "KITTENS COME HERE WERE GOING TO DRESS UP THE PRETTIEST GIRL IN SCHOOL FOR A PARTY"

"What the hell" l mumbled under my breath.

"YAAAAY" loud screams echoed through the hole house.

Two little angels slowly appeared and entered my room. Jill quickly ran over to the dresses and picked the few that cought her eye.

"Nice choice Jill l also think they would look good on them" Daisy said picking up the dresses from Jill while Jack sat next to me and pulled out his phone opening a video game. "Now jewelry" Daisy said and the both of them quickly ran over to my jewelry box.

"So what are ya playing" l asked Jack.

"A game" he said before l was swept away my Daisy and shoved me into the bathroom. They give me five combination of outfits all different colors blue, pink and black, white flowery , green and purple.

After an entire hour we finally chose the pink and black body dress. And rings to compliment every finger with flowery earrings. Daisy straightened my hair while Jill watched in amazement.

I said goodbye to my parents and the twins before l got inside Daisy's car. We also spent one hour in her house picking out an outfit for her l got inside her car before her because she had to talk to her parents.

This was the only time since that happened that l was alone to my own mind. Tears started threatening to fall down as l thought of the incident. Before a tear could fall Daisy entered the car.

She looked over at me and her face dropped.

"Come on don't cry it's not worth to cry over a nobody like him. Let's make you forget about that awful man" Daisy said hugging me " Were going to have a blast and he's only going to be criticed"

"You know what hell yeah we're going to have a blast and forget about him" l said but he still remained in my mind.

"Let's goooooo" Daisy said starting the car and driving to the city
