Ersa's POV:
"Ava, please let me out," I said in her mind, and trying my best to reach out to her mentally, Ava's shield around her brain opened. It feels like she is not in consciousness. I have to reach out to her to pull myself out completely.
I felt Ava reaching for me. This was all I needed, I thought to myself. I held her hand and dragged myself out of this slumber.
I came to the surface. I can now clearly see from Ava's eyes. I saw a few men surrounding me and I let out a roar when someone tried to approach me.
They all flinched and took a step back.
