Week 2:How to Design Characters

CHARACTER BACKGROUND

Ariana's parents has the fiction-like love story. Her mom came from a rich family trying to set her up in a marriage while her dad is a simple man born in a family or farmers, raised in a province. As her mom's punishment for choosing her dad, she was kicked out of their house as her whole bloodline told her not to receive any help from the family. Unable to raise Ariana, her mom's sister took her in out of pity. Ariana never grew up with her parents. Instead she grew up with her aunt Anne together with her only son Ron. Growing up with a boy, Ariana ended up acting boyish. At 11 years old, her aunt surrendered her to her parents. There she had a taste of life's bitternes. When she turned 15, her mom's uncle took her in where she has been abused mentally. She has been bullied in school as well. There, she developed social anxiety, being insecure of herself, she started to dress as a dude instead.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS ARIANA?

Ariana will be known as the cold type. She's always quiet and will only talk once asked, her answers are only focused on the question as well. She prefers being alone than being around people. She has extreme trust issues and is a perfectionist. She would socialize but don't expect to find the fun in her.

She's often in a poker face and no one can ever read what's on her mind. She always has her earphones on to avoid talking to people.

WHAT DOES SHE LOOKS LIKE?

Ariana is 20 and Whenever someone glances at her for the very first time, they might've mistook her as a guy. She was wearing a korean two block hairstyle with her hair dyed in lapiz lazuli blue. She's always wearing an oversized hoodie paired with black ripped jeans and rubber shoes. A cross earring dangling on her right ear.

If she'll be courting a girl, she'll get more yes than any guy could get.

THE PEOPLE AROUND

Shawn

The over energetic, over friendly and flirty boy next bay few steps away from Ariana's station. He's closer to girls and is the exact opposite of Ariana. He's loud and an obvious extrovert. Not to mention, pervy.

Nate

That gay workmate on his 30's. Professional with his actions and words. He's the type who has authority and confidence. Ariana's adviser, basically. He will be the one who will push Ariana to reach for what her heart was beating for.

Nory

The queen bee. The first chic to have a crush on Shawn. The Kylie Jenner of the team. Sassy, girly and the area's it girl.
