Chapter Twenty
**Selenes POV** "Wolfsbane, the one kryptonite to wolves." Daniel cackles at me as dread flows through my veins at this revelation. I had just learned about wolfsbane a month ago and that it now was in my system was not good news. It weakened werewolves, cutting off their link with not only their mates, but the entire pack. The wolf counterpart would shut down completely, not being able to communicate with their human side or assist when danger was near. In high doses it can even kill a werewolf. This was a dirty trick on Daniels part and it showed his weakness greatly. Just as I was about to growl at him again, a sultry and dark giggle sounds through the woods. "Excellent job, Daniel." A sour voice comes through the leaves. Following the sound, my eyes meet a pair of soulless grey ones.
