“Sorry for interrupting your plans with Daynara, but the boss needed to speak to us today. You know she won’t take no for an answer,” Logan says as he leads me up the stairs to his office.
Walking beside him, I carefully replied, “It’s not ideal, but Daynara agreed to fly ahead. Ramona’s wedding isn’t for another two days, so Daynara will have time to spend with her friends. I told her I’ll make it to Paris in time for the wedding.”
Logan snickers, “I hope she’s not mad.”
I shake my head, “Non. Her anger waned after I let her and her friends stay at my Chateau. Right now, they’re all happily touring my vineyard and relishing the fresh Parisian countryside.”
