Why is it so hot? Didn’t it rain just yesterday? Shouldn’t it be cold today?
“Hmm… Rei… did you turn off the AC?” I mumbled, my voice dry and tired.
Ugh… It’s way too warm. I can feel the sweat on the back of my neck. I fumble around with my hand, reaching for the side table. “Glasses… where are my glasses…?” My fingers finally touch the familiar frame, and I sigh in relief. “Ah, it’s here.” I push them onto my face and slowly sit up.
The moment I turn to my side, I see Rei, still wrapped up in the blanket, completely still. He’s sleeping, his hair a little messy, his lips slightly parted. Even like this, he looks… really cute. Peaceful.
