KAI'S POV
“So, what do you think? It’s good, isn’t it?” Haru said proudly as he stood in the middle of the living room, arms crossed like he already owned the whole place.
I glanced around again, carefully this time. The place was clean. It's Bright and big. It even had a nice smell.
“It’s not noisy, right?” I asked, still looking up at the ceiling and walls. “We won’t hear our neighbors or something?”
“Yeah, the soundproofing here is good. The walls aren’t thin,” Haru replied with confidence.
“What about the wat—”
“It’s good too.”
“There’s nothing to f—”
“Nothing. It’s all good,” he said before I could even finish.
“W-well… this place does look good but…” I said, letting my voice trail as I turned in a slow circle.
“But?” Haru ask.
