Chapter 13:

When Ava came home, she found her house empty, no sign of Emily. Ava sighed and sat down at the couch thinking about Ethan. She had the smile on her face and didn't see Emily and Victor walking in. Emily went and hit Ava on the hand and sat beside her. Ava flinched and hissed with pain "Emily, aww why did you hit me and when did you come" Ava said rubbing her hand, and turned only to find Victor standing Ava blushed and told Victor to sit, and now Ava hit Emily and said "Stupid girl atleast you should tell a guest to sit down." Emily replied "First of all b***h we came when you were sitting and smiling like a fool and secondly he is not a guest." Ava said "This girl will never learn hospitality, and sir do you want coffee, tea or anything else to drink." Victor said "No Ava, we had breakfast and I just came here to drop her off, and I sat here because you both quarrel like little girls that too like siblings for chocolate or something" and they all laughed at his statement. Emily hugs Ava and says "Oh, we both are siblings even if we are not born for the same parents." Ava hugs her back and says "True this girl is like a little sister to me." Victor was happy to see them. Suddenly Ava remembers something, she stands up and sees both Emily and Victor, turns to Emily and asks in a serious tone "You, Where were you last night, you didn't do anything stupid right?" Emily and Victor both see each other, Emily smiled at him, but Victor swallows and they both turn to Ava, while Emily starts to say something Victor cuts her off and says "Ava Emily was with me yesterday and also one more thing I like Emily, I want to date her." Ava knew this as Ethan said the same thing but after hearing Victor say that she was relieved, but stood silently. Emily gets up and goes near Ava, holds her hand and says "Ava don't worry I will not be the same girl who makes the same mistakes, this time I will be careful. And to tell about the other thing we didn't do any stupid stuff yesterday, but did it this morning" Emily laughs saying the last statement. Ava hits her and moves away from her. Ava turns to Victor and tells him "Victor, Emily may seem carefree but once she gets attached to someone she gives her hundred percent to them, so don't do anything to her. I know I have heard that you are not someone who hurts others, but then also I will tell you don't hurt Emily." Victor stands up and comes near them and says "Ava I won't hurt anyone on purpose especially not Emily, I have not been attracted to anyone like this before, honestly I like Emily, I even asked her out." Ava was happy and she smiled at them Emily hugged her tightly. And then Emily asks with a smile "Where did you hear that Victor doesn't hurt anyone, and also where were you Ava last night?" Ava blushes and tries to avoid Emily's question by asking Victor for a cup of coffee and trying to go to the kitchen. Emily was faster than Ava and catches her, even before Ava could take single step, "Oh Ava you are in trouble I would have left you, even if you didn't answer my question, but you tried to dodge it now tell me you went Ethan's house right what happened what all did you guys do tell me." Ava blushes and looks down. Victor says "ok girls I don't want to hear the details I will leave now." Ava asks Victor again "Victor do you want anything to eat or drink, I know this girl doesn't know how to cook or even at that fact she doesn't even know how to make coffee." Victor and Ava laugh while Emily pouts and says "That's why I get the best cooks in my life I guess, here you cook for me, and this morning Victor made breakfast for me" she says and hugs Victor. He smiles and then tells them, he will leave and hugs Emily again and tells them bye. The day goes on with Emily telling about Victor, and Ava telling how she will go to the office tomorrow, what she will do if everyone is gossiping about her. Emily tells her don't care about any of them if they are not important just smile and leave from there and tell it was only a date for events to those who are important, Ava sighs and tells ok.

Next morning Ava gets up early gets fresh, cooks breakfast and then gets ready to go to the office. And then she wakes Emily they both have breakfast and Ava leaves for the office after telling bye to Emily. At the office, after the event everything was back to normal. Ava went to the office anxiously thinking everyone will be talking about her. When she entered the office she greeted the receptionist as usual and the receptionist talked normally, but did ask how she became the date of their boss, to which Ava just smiles and leaves as Emily suggested. Ava reached her office only three of her staff were there at that moment she greeted them and went to her cabin and started to work. No one brings up the thing about her being her boss's date. Day goes nicely without much happening they all do their work. In the evening she had still little work to complete it was time to go, so her staff comes to her and asks if she will leave to that she replies you guys can go I will just check this file and then leave, they all tell her bye and then leave. Ava completes her work, and she looks at the clock it was late, so she gets up and packs her bag and leaves her cabin and goes towards the lift. She was waiting for the lift, Ethan also comes from his office they both see each other, she greets him. "Ava why are you still here it's late already, how are you going?" Ethan asks her with concern. Ava replies "Umm.... I had work so I stayed up a little late sir, and I will take the cab to home sir, and also Alex said you went somewhere." Ethan says "Yes, I went to meet one of our business partners and I had to come to get some files, as I had to send Alex early, he had some personal work. And one more thing I will drop you home and also at least don't call me sir when we both are alone." Ava blushes and nods. They both leave the office in his car. In the car Ethan asks Ava "How was your day Ava?" Ava replies "It was good, initially I was anxious what staff would be talking about me, what if they asked me, how would I answer them and all but no one actually asked me, but I did hear some gossip which was harmless so I didn't care about it." Ethan tells her "Ava you should have talked to me no, if you were scared I would have helped you." Ava sighs and says "I talked with Emily and her suggestion helped me a lot, and I couldn't tell you I was anxious, it would have been so embarrassing" Ethan parks the car in the sideways and takes a deep breath and says "Ava you don't have to feel embarrassed about anything when you are talking with me, I won't think less of you, you are literally innocent and good girl I have ever seen" saying this he takes her hand in his and kisses it. Ava blushes and says "Uhhhh.... ok, can we go now Emily is waiting for me." Ethan nods and starts the car and tells her "I thought we could have dinner" Ava says "Sorry Ethan, not today next time for sure and that too only if you allow me to pay." Ethan says "Oh Ava that's not possible I can't allow you to pay, my father always tells me never let your date pay." Ava blushes hearing this and just nods. They reach Ava's home, he stops the car, and turns towards her and tells her "For three days I'm going to the US for business meetings, after coming from there we will go for dinner" Ava says "okay we will go once you come back, but if you don't want me to pay atleast come to my home once so I will bake you cake once." To which Ethan replies " Haaa see now you are talking about a good thing, after coming from the US we will have dinner date in a restaurant first and next day I will come to yours to have cake, is it good?" Ava smiled and said yes and she was about to get down, when Ethan pulled her hand, she turned towards him, Ethan came forward and asked Ava "Ava I badly want to kiss you, if you are okay with it stay like this, otherwise turn away I will give you 5 seconds to decide." His face was too close to hers, she was not able to think straight so she stayed there only. Ethan took that as yes he kissed her, at first Ava didn't respond, later she responded to his kiss, they broke the kiss after they both were out of air, and Ethan puts his forehead on hers, Ava still has her eyes shut, she is scared to open her eyes. Ethan observes her, and then asks "Ava are you feeling uncomfortable?" Ava nods no, so he pecks her lips once again and moves a little away, Ava opens her eyes and blushes, she says Ethan that she will go and opens the car and runs away. Ethan gets out of the car to see Ava run away, he smiles and takes off.
