LIBERTY’S P.O.V
I didn’t want to go to the first period.
Partly because of him, but also because I needed to speak to my psychiatrist. After my outburst, I needed someone to talk to. And even though I loved Fran I knew she couldn't understand.
No one understands, therefore I needed an expert. Dr. Rose had dealt with many cases like mine and I felt like she was the only one that I could talk to.
I let the school counselor know and then I headed out.
When I sat and waited to talk to Dr. Rose I looked at my phone and saw a new text from Fran. I opened it.
‘Where are you?’
Fran was the only one besides my family and Dr. Rose that knew about Hope. So I quickly texted her back.
‘I'm at Dr. Rose's. Had a new breakdown yesterday.’
I got sad again, thinking about it. But I calmed myself down thinking about the fact that I was a stone. A new text popped up from Fran.
‘Okay, see you later. Have a good time :)’
I smiled. Even though Fran didn’t understand she always tried to, and she was always kind, always thinking about my feelings.
I didn’t have time to think more about it as a nurse came out in the waiting area and called;
"Liberty Allan, Dr. Rose is ready for you in her office," she gave me a kind look as I stood up and walked into Dr. Rose’s office.
FRANCESCA’S P.O.V
I felt bad for Libby. She went through so much last year. And now that Alpha wouldn’t leave her alone.
"Maybe they're mates?" Allocine said.
Yeah, that’s probably it, I answered my wolf sarcastically.
"Just think about it, it makes sense!" Allocine answered me not bothering my tone.
No, it doesn't make sense. If they were mates Libby would be head over heels for him!
"Yeah maybe…" Allocine said, but I knew she wasn’t convinced.
It was lunchtime and Libby had just texted me that she would meet me in the cafeteria.
I piled my plate up with food and gave everyone that was staring a look that I knew could freeze lava. No one judged my food. Except for Libby, she was allowed to joke about it.
I sat down on our table from yesterday and waited for Libby. After about two minutes I noticed someone sitting down in front of me. I looked up straight into the other alphas brown and yellow eyes. That boy had serious problems.
"What is it now?" I asked him in a stated tone.
"You know you shouldn't let him get on your nerves,"’ Allocine mocked me.
I’m not letting him on my nerves, I answered her calmly.
I turned my attention towards the alpha again.
"I just wanted to say sorry for earlier and I just want to know where your friend is."
He seemed nervous to talk to me. I knew he didn’t understand why he acted nervous around me, but still, it was kinda fun to watch him.
"You're bad with words you know? And I don't care if you're sorry or not. Liberty said she doesn't want anything to do with you, so you just have to respect her decision," I stated calmly and looked straight at him.
JEREMY’S P.O.V
What is it with that girl? She doesn’t react to me like a normal human.
"Have you considered that she may not be human?" My wolf told me in a knowing tone.
What? Of course, she’s human! She has to be!
"If you insist…" was all he said.
And what exactly do you mean about that?
"Oh for the sake of the Moon Goddess just take a whiff, huh?" He said annoyed at me.
"Wow, you have serious problems with your social skills..." her voice leading me back to reality.
I just gave her a look and then I sniffed her scent. What! She’s a wolf!
"Not exactly but you're close," my wolf responded to my thoughts.
