My Mate That I Don't Want

Chapter nine: Confrontation

FRANCESCA'S P.O.V

I didn’t even bother to knock, I just burst into the room. I saw a girl sitting on one of the beds in the room reading. she looked up when I came in. 

She was pretty with black hair, a pale face and big brown and yellow eyes. She gave me a look then said calmly “Ever heard of knocking?” she had an annoying sarcastic tone. I couldn’t care less. “Do you know what you did!” I yelled at her angrily. “What?” she simply replied. “You nearly spilled our secret in front of a human!” I yelled at her. 

I was so mad, I had problems keeping control over Allocine. ‘Just give in! Let me finish this mutt for you!’ she pleaded in my head, just as mad as me. 

JASMINE’S P.O.V

What was she talking about? This girl thinks she can just burst into my room and accuse me of this! ‘You shouldn’t let her talk to you like that! You’re the alpha's daughter!’ Lelaine said in my head. 

“Do you know who you’re talking to the mutt?” I said to the girl in front of me. She calmed down a bit and I smiled in victory. But then she proceeded to say “The question you really should be asking yourself is, do you know who you are talking to.” 

Before I even got the time to think of a comeback she continued calmly as ever. “But that wasn’t the reason I came here. The reason I came here is that you nearly told a human about the existence of werewolves.” she talked to me calmly, but the look she gave me sent shivers down my spine. 

What is happening to us I asked my wolf. Nothing. She didn’t respond. I managed to glare back at her although not so powerful as I wanted to and said. “And what gives you the right to accuse me of that?” I asked not so confidently as I hoped. She just raised her eyebrows. 

After some time I opened my mouth to speak but she cut me off again. “You said and I quote: You should be grateful that the moon goddess paired you two up.” she glared at me like she was challenging me to deny it. But I couldn’t. Cause I remember saying that. Ugh, I feel so stupid. But I had to stand up to myself. “I only said that because she must find out,” I said in a challenging tone proud of myself. She just laughed at me while I sat there, probably looking stupid.

FRANCESCA’S P.O.V

I stared at the stupid girl in front of me while I laughed at her. After a while, I managed to spit out “So what you are saying is that a human girl must find out about the supernatural universe?” I said, finally managing to stop laughing. 

I glared at her more seriously. She stared at me with what I thought was supposed to be an intimidating look. I stared back at her with a look that said, spit it out. I had worked at it a lot and was pretty proud of it. 

When she didn’t answer me I sighed and looked around the room. It was nice but pretty messy. I started cleaning Libby’s side first. Making her bed, picking up her clothes and folding them neatly. When I was done with her side I went over to the other girl's side. She looked at me confused and to be honest it suited her. The stupid look. 

I just gave her one look and started cleaning her desk and folding her clothes. When I only had the bed left I glared at her  “Move it pup.”I said in a very straightforward tone. She looked at me before silently moving off the bed so I could make it.

I went over to Libby’s bed making sure to not mess anything up. I looked right at her “So tell me, why is it necessary for a human girl to know about the existence of werewolves?” I asked as calmly as I managed. She looked at me seriously “Because she’s my brother’s mate.” she said. ‘Told you so!’ Allocine said in my head. Shut it I answered and shut her out. 

I looked straight at the girl in front of me, searching for signs that she was lying. When I couldn’t I gave her my 'really' glare and said “That pathetic little alpha of yours?” making it sound like the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard.

JASMINE’S P.O.V

That was the last straw. She did not just make fun of my alpha and twin! ‘Yeah she did, didn’t you hear her?’ Lelaine said in my head. Well, look who finally decided to join the show! I barked back at her. Then I turned my anger towards the mutt in front of me. 

I stood up stiff with anger and glared at her.  “How dare you say such things about my alpha and brother you mutt!” I growled at her feeling the rage build up in me. “How dare you talk to me like that you little scum, and how dare you nearly expose the secret of the supernatural to a human girl!” she growled back at me looking frightening as heck. 

“I told you she had…” I started growling back but she cut me off again. “Enough! I don’t wanna hear about it! You know very well that it is not up to you to reveal that to her! So shut up about it and admit your mistakes mutt!” she growled at me making me squint and looking down at the floor. “Well!” she growled at me when I didn’t say anything. I looked at her and said calmly “It was wrong. But she was equally wrong. She can’t refuse to be his mate, it would destroy the pack.” I looked at her waiting for her to respond. But she didn’t, she just stood up from the bed and walked out of the room.
