I Love Her In Japan [COMPLETED]

Chapter 1

Spotlight

"Good afternoon, Miss Yokohama!" I greeted the owner of the bar when I entered. I was with my friend, Ruki and Kian.

"Oh, Good afternoon! Your performance will start twenty minutes from now, get ready," we nodded at what Yokohama said and headed to the backstage. There were ladies who will entertain the audience later. I winced at their outfit for tonight. They wore a black tight dress and a long neckline which somehow reveals their cleavage and their long legs which doesn't have their stockings. The girls have their thick make-ups on their face. I was still not used to their routines at night. 

"Let's go Zaiah.." Ruki tugged my sweater. I nodded and followed her on the dressing room. Ruki and I was not the same as the girls were doing. We are just a singer here at the bar, we're not the one-night stand kind of girls.

I wear a red velvet long sleeves mini skirt with a round neckline paired with a black stilletos. I decided to just wear a light make-up for my performance later. 

"Are you ready Zaiah?" I turned to Kian who wears a button-down polo and a pants. His hair was pushed back with a hair gel which suits him perfectly. Well, he looks dashing with all what he wears though. He smiled.

"Yeah, I'm ready," I stood up from the vanity chair. All of the people here were busy dressing up, do their own make-ups, and fixing their things. Ruki just came out of the dressing room and my brows shot up when I saw her outfit.

"Wow.. nice outfit huh?" I complimented. Most of us here know how to speak english and our manager Yokohama and I thank god for that. I still can't understand and speak japanese. I know a little bit of their language but I still wasn't that fluent in speaking so I'm still adjusting myself here in Japan.  

"Let's go, our performance will start now!" We quickly stormed out of the backstage and I heard Kian cheered for us before we left.

"Goodluck!" 

"Go upstairs! Faster!" Ruki and I went on the stage. I tapped the mic if it was working and it was. I cleared my throat and we sat on the high chair. Ruki placed her guitar on her lap, trying to tune it.

"Minasang kombanwa!" (Goodevening everyone!) I greeted the audience in front of us. There are old businessman, teenage squads, and some are foreigners. They all cheered. I smiled.

"Watashi wa Arekusadesu kore wa Rukidesu," (I am Aleza and this is Ruki) I pointerd my friend. She waved her hand and smiled. I cleared my throat. I'm still not used in speaking Japanese language. Ugh, "Soshite min'na de Meiku it iz O utaimasu," (And we are going to sing Make it with You, everyone) 

I motioned Ruki to start strumming on her guitar. She nodded. I saw Kian on the audience. He smiled to me and raised his fist up a bit saying that I can do it. I stifled a smile before closing my eyes. I am going to sing 'Make it with you' by Ben&Ben. I love their songs so much.

I opened my eyes and hold the mic stand. I wandered my eyes around the audience, but my eyes remained on the guy who's staring intently at me while drinking his beer. I looked away and concentrated in singing. 

No, you don't know me well

And every little thing only time will tell

If you believe the things that I do

And we'll see it through

I got distracted when Yokohama called me softly. I stopped singing and looked at her. Even Ruki stopped strumming on her guitar, confused why Yokohama called me suddenly in the middle of our performance. She motioned me to go near her, I obeyed her. She leaned on me and whispered.

"Darekaga anata to issho ni utaitai," (Someone wants to sing with you) my lips parted and looked at Yokohama. She smiled and called someone, I looked at who had requested to sing with me. My brows shot up when it's the guy who was staring at me earlier. His tall, his body was a bit muscular. He's handsome but he's not my type. His hands are in his pocket, he looks cool. His hair was messy but he looks hot on it. I blinked. What did I just say? No, he was neither handsome nor hot. Yeah, that's more likely.

"This is..?" Yokohama trailed off when she didn't know his name too. The guy slightly chuckled and offered his hand on me.

"Leomont Hocova, nice to meet you," i smiled a little and accepted his hand.

"Alexa," I only introduced my first name to him. He nodded before he let go of my hands from mine. I hide my hands at my back and pinched it a little when my heart started to beat faster. Why is it beating so fast? Am I sick? I shook my head in my mind. 

"Sutēji ni agatte Reomonto to issho ni utaimashou," (Go up on the stage and sing again with Leomont) I nodded and went upstairs. I tapped the mic and cleared my throat. I gave the other mic to Leomont. He thanked me. 

"What do you want to sing?" I asked. I think he's a Filipino and not a Japanese. Maybe he understands english, I guess?

"Maybe the Night by Ben&Ben," my forehead twitched then shook my head.

"It's not allowed to sing the same band's song again-" he cut me off.

"It's already approved by Yokohama," my lips parted and looked at Yokohama on the side. She nodded at me. The hell? She never allowed singing same band's songs here! Why is that? Ugh! She's being unfair. I pouted and nod at him. Good thing I know that song. 

"Minasan kon'nichiwa, watashitachi wa futatabi koko ni imasuga, ima, atarashī gesuto, reomonto ga imasu," (Hello again everyone, we are here again but now we have a new guest, Leomont)

"Kare ni hakushu o okurimashou!" (Let's give him a round of applause!) the audience clapped. I told Ruki what song we are going to sing. She's a fan of the song's band too, so she knows the chord of it. I looked at Leomont beside me, he looked at me either.

I sang the first paragraph of the song. I licked my lips and glanced at him again. Why is his stare like that? It's making me uneasy! I startled when someone yelled in front.

"Go Hocova! Whoo!" I heard him chuckled on my side. I akwardly smiled. I think it's his friends. 

Gosh, this is driving me crazy! The thought that a spotlight is on us now! Why is this happening now? There's no spotlight when we're singing earlier! I glared at Leomont who was just smiling at me teasingly. I rolled my eyes at him.
