Travelling north almost to the land-bridge that separates the Issian motherland to the wild and mystical lands of Icathia, Akha stumbles upon a roadside scene. A young man was harassed by familiar enemies. Interceding, old memories become to awaken from Akha as he faces these foes, inflicting him with physical wounds as if they were connected. Claiming this weakness as a sort of illness by the very man he saved, Kinu was offered a place to stay for a night where the boy promises healing from his sister who resided in a nearby village.
