In a journey heading south of Icathia, Akha seeks out to meet old aches and familiar wounds. To the place where a young boy was raised to be the perfect weapon. There he realizes the one very thing that reminded him of his old life, and to perhaps, find answers to the questions that beguile his fragile  mind. Routing the closest roads to Atano, a ten day journey on foot sets him on a path to the Valley of Crows, where the scent of war and blood was still thick and miasmic in the air. In the midst of the divide, Akha traverses a valley of shadow and death, where a battle had once subsided. Here the swordsman slayed the unslayable.
