Me and My Brother

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Astor and I'm 16 years old. I live with my brother (Jason), my "adoptive parents" (Matthew and Isabelle), and my "adopted sister" (Rose). Four years ago, me and my brother were living with our parents (Anna and Joshua). They were the kindest two people in the world;everybody liked them. Our lives were running smoothly and everything was going okay. That is, until about three weeks before my 13th birthday, they were killed in a tragic accident in which they had saved ME from being killed! They saved MY life by sacrificing THEIRS! Why? I didn't deserve it!! Even though my brother has changed from being the caring and loving brother that I knew before our parents death, to being mean and snarky after their death, helping Rose bully me, and then goin back to being sweet and caring after the first time I tried committing suicide. I want to tell you MY side of the story before he can tell you his. One thing I can agree with him about is that our parents death WAS my fault, and I will live with that blame and guilt for the rest of my life. I have two of the greatest friends in the world that anyone could ask for; their names are Mary and Sara. They've been with me since the beginning of middle school, and I'm grateful to have them for friends. They were always there for me when I was being bullied by Jason or Rose or one of their friends. They are still there for me when Rose or one of her friends bully me, since Jason doesn't bully me anymore. Anyways, I'm thankful to those of you that read my story so that it won't happen to you.
