Suyo (part 2)
Amidst the din and the confusion, Rico sits in a peaceful corner of the room adjunct to the main lecture area of the place. He tries to parse the series of events which has transpired these last few days, these last few weeks, these last few months, leading up to the theft of the Comb of Lerma. And the current unexplained disappearance of the one of the museum's official, Engineer Dino Martinez.
And his parsings, the tweakings and tweenings of his memories, all return him to a place called Suyo.
It began as the seemingly negligible and harmless piece of note attached as a prologue to a thesis included in the study of the provenance of their agency's most significant discovery yet. It read as follows:
