Chapter 11: Visitation Day
It seemed hard to believe only a week had passed since she’d first found Kazuki lying in her garden. His wounds were all healed, so he could have left any time he wanted. Yet he seemed to enjoy staying with her. After learning about her past and her condition, Kazuki had continued to treat her just as he had before. Her cheeks warmed as she thought of the fact that he was still sleeping in her bed. She’d offered again to buy him a bed for the guest room, but he’d just smiled and said he was fine with leaving things the way they were. In truth, she was too, though it certainly was unusual.
And now Karasu was living with her too. He slept in her cherry tree at night in his crow form. He’d usually come down for dinner then would sit in the living room with Kazuki
