Chapter 16: The Festival “Karasu-kun! Breakfast!” Sakura called out the side door, but he didn’t fly down like usual. She didn’t see his little black body in the tree at all. “Karasu-kun?” “He’s not there,” Kazuki said from the living room doorway. “I’m sorry. I forgot to tell you, he won’t be joining us for breakfast today. I sent him back to our world.” “No! Why? He apologized and we’re okay now.” Kazuki smiled and hugged her. “I didn’t send him back as punishment. He’s running an errand for me, that’s all. He should be back by evening, tomorrow at the latest.
