Chapter 28: Puppet Master
Kazuki materialized near the castle, intending to go straight to the stables to get a steed to take him to the Forest of Kuragari to find Yuji. Instead, he heard a familiar voice call to him from behind.
“Kazuki! I’ve been waiting for you.” He turned to see Yuji walking toward him, smiling at him even.
His rage and thirst for vengeance lent him speed as he ran forward, drawing his sword. Yuji managed to block the blow with his own sword at the last second.
