~Grandmother in White~
A young child sees her grandmother in white;
She climbed onto the odd bed,
She looked at her grandmother with awe-
She was sleeping.
Others wept around her bed:
The little girl not knowing what was wrong.
She looked once more,
Behold, her grandmother was in a slumber.
Others wept around her bed:
Her grandmother was dead.
The girl blubbers, she is gone.
~Hades Heart~
Twisted, battered and burned.
A dream shattered before it starts,
Hades heart.
He has a feeling deep inside;
Creating an abyss.
Nowhere to hide.
He may need a true love’s kiss.
Sadness, sorrow and hurt.
A song ringing from inside,
A poor soul about to die.
Who is that girl he sees?
Standing in front of him.
He doesn’t know where she came from,
But he knows shes apart of him.
He sweeps her away in his chariot;
His dear Persephone.
To his home they flee.
For 5 months out of the year
She stays with Hades
For sorrow bleaks the summer days
And for eternity this stays.
~Heart Felt~
Will you remember me when we grow old,
How we were each others perfect imperfections?
When days and years start to grow cold;
With our courageous or dimwitted interjections.
Will our fervid linger even after we’re gone?
Captured in the folds of time itself;
Varying through each day at the start of dawn
And will another, maybe two lovers,
Dawdle as time passes them by as we have?
Sincere they might be. But
Will they be as nurturing as a mother and her new born calf?
To death do us part and till the strings of life are cut;
Awarding, Compassionate, is my love for you,
And throughout time, our love doth grew.
