~I look into your eyes: A Villanelle~

I look into your eyes and I know you

You hold me close and I become air

You kiss me softly; taking it slow

I need you closer to me when you must go

I’m afraid, yet you say no need to fear

I shake my head and go with the flow

I look into your eyes and they’re beautiful too

Seeing you smile, makes me shed tears

Tears of happiness and joy to be with you

I love you more everyday, if only you knew

Your warm embrace, in my heart, it's there

And yet sorry befalls me when you go…

I look into your eyes and I remember the snow

In a passionate embrace, surrounded by the cold air

Skin to skin, never feeling the cold, a secret only us two know

As summer comes, spring falls, we wonder where to go

We sit and kiss on that hill so no one would stare

We enjoy the day, no longer needing to go slow

I look into your eyes once more and my face begins to glow.

~Love Him Forever: A Tercet~

Without him, my will grows weak

Without him I feel utter sorrow

This is why it is him I must seek

It is time that we must go

I ask if he will stay with me until we die;

As he says yes, I begin to glow

I am so happy with him I feel like I fly!

This love is unlike any other;

Even though we started out quite shy.

I cannot imagine us not being together

Yes, our love may need a tweak

But I know I’ll love him forever.

~LoveSick Dove: A Limerick~

A lovesick dove await’s for her beloved in the wake of night.

While he takes his time, she never lets her goal out of sight;

Waiting a day when he asks her a question that will make her hop with joy.

He brightens up her day like when a child gets their first toy,

She is in love with him and he is certainly her one and only light.
