Bitter-Sweet?

the best view of life is college. you get to meet new friends, go out, make good and bad decisions, cry, laugh,hate as well as love. it all depends on how you want your college years to be. memorable or terrible? Being a middle class orphan for Nora Henshaw. life didn't really give her what she wanted. from her early years till her college years, it was one challenge or the other. money was another big challenge being in a country and system ruled by money. money could literally do anything and everything except guaranteeing your acceptance into heaven. High school was a major pain in the ass. beginning from the friends she had to keep, the betrayals, the tears, the embarrassments and the pains but what is high school without a taste of those?her answer "nothing". those are the perks of being a high school, you either embrace it or change it, your choice but choose wisely was always her cliche phrase. Nora is a 18 year old Nigerian born into a Middle class society later reduced to poverty after the death of her parents at age 10. Being moved from different people houses to another since their death was a major trauma for her. during those teenage times, one must be rebellious and Nora wasn't an exception but a very higher grade of her kind. different temptations at different stages of her life making her caretaker believe that she actually is a bad child. but in reality, children who we think are rebellious actually need love.it is a four letter word but if actually put into action, it is the best thing that can happen to a person. now that was the pending case for Nora but nobody could just see it or maybe they saw it but choose to tame the rebellious side in her making her do more for attention. being bright and outstanding was her forte. she was good in everything she set her mind to do. she was focused and was a goal achiever. miss school most times due to pending school fee balance but a better grade than those who attended classes for a whole term. At such, getting admission was not a big deal but a great deal. freedom is what every teenager who hasn't seen life always dream of. Nora too is expectantly not much of an exception too, she always craved getting her nails done , long hair, hot clothes and all there is to the world but restrictions paid off but of course in the ending. that is Nora Henshaw.
